  1. Ok King Felix is gone sox hitters. Let's not Greg Walker this inning.
  2. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 11:05 PM) If Buehrle pitches over this then he should already have his statue built. f***in Lexi. JR.. get on those blueprints.
  3. Jose Lopez.. not very smart.
  4. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 10:55 PM) I need more than that. PM me your address, I'll send you a blow up doll.
  5. QUOTE (WCSox @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 10:47 PM) No kidding. Felix hasn't exactly been shutting us down tonight. Scary thing is.. this is an off night for him.
  6. Seattle should hardly ever entertain trading him, and if they do.. they better be getting back can't miss spects or Tim Lincecum.
  7. Wow bad luck.. Beckham got a hit taken away from the DP depth.
  8. Beckhams got this.
  9. Kotsay PWNS King Felix, Nix finally gets a hit.
  10. QUOTE (WCSox @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 10:26 PM) The play-by-play guy for the first three innings is terrible. He sounds like an old drunk. I just turned it on for an online feed here, but my god I might just go upstairs and listen to Hawk and Steve over this s***.
  11. 9 K's for King Felix. Buehrle is having a better day H/IP wise but Felix is putting up the sexier stats.
  12. God these Seattle announcers are boring.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 10:16 PM) With Jim Thome on deck though? Felix probably walks him and K's the next guy anyway.
  14. Do teams still not realize Buehrle has one of the best pickoff moves in the game?
  15. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 06:48 PM) Whatever they say he's throwing at in Charlotte, I'm subtracting 5 MPH. The only guy I can remember who threw as hard as we were led to believe when he was called up was Jenks. Does Clayton Richard count? He actually went way above from what he was scouted to throw.
  16. God Felix is nasty.. See this is the type of pitcher you don't mind losing to. It's the Jakubakas, Huffs, etc.. of the world that kill you.
  17. Not working for me..
  18. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 09:08 PM) Does anyone have a web stream for the game?
  19. QUOTE (rockren @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 09:15 PM) Felix looks filthy... I think some posters here forgot a actual stud is pitching against us.
  20. Does anyone have a web stream for the game?
  21. God what an ass beating the Phillies are putting on the Cubs. Fans in Wrigley already waiving white flags/surrendering for this game. The Phillies have an amazing record since 2001 against the Cubs. I think I heard the Cubs haven't won a series against them since 01 as well. They just PWN them.
  22. OT: I know you've said in the past you looked like Brian Anderson Steven, but god damn... yo ass is a near BA spit up.
  23. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 05:45 PM) Quentin will be moving to RF this off-season barring some other move. They just didn't want to move Dye and right now given Quentin's health they obviously don't want to mess with him. I'd be shocked really Jason considering they could have played him in RF when JD was injured earlier in the season. Remember Quentin was healthy around that time too and still didn't do it. I'm not sure if Ozzie thinks he can play the position and he's been in LF for two years now so I'm sure he's used to it.
  24. QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 05:31 PM) I know people are going to be disappointed with Rios playing in RF and Pods staying in CF, but I doubt Ozzie wants to put Q in RF suddenly considering his health status. My guess is we see Rios only in CF this season when Pods is not playing, when Q is not playing, or perhaps as a defensive replacement late in games. Hopefully they will address Q moving to RF next season, however. They won't. Sorry to disappoint you. They do not view Quentin as a RF at all. If that was the case, they would have put him there when JD was on the injury bug and this is when Quentin was healthy. Instead, they trotted Scott Podsednik out there for a few games. Sox brass does not view him as a RF at all. QUOTE (chunk23 @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 05:30 PM) He should also be in CF. What are you doing Ozzie? So what do you want him to do.. Trout Pods in RF? They aren't putting Quentin out there since he's injured (they didn't do it when he was healthy) I have no problem with what Ozzie is doing today espeically since Quentin and Thome are playing. Now if Rios is in LF and Pods is in CF tomorrow.. then we have a problem.
