AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Buehrle... $$$$$ Jenks fastball is also comming around. Kinda remember it was like this last season as well so it's very good to see him hitting 95+ again. Just a terrific win considering we have to beat the teams we're suppose to beat.

And thats a White Sox loser...
QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 07:49 PM) We also have faced Paul Byrd, Jeremy Sowers, Carlos Silva, Chad Gaudin, Joe Kennedy, and Robinson Tejada. We also struggled mightily against them...so don't just say 'well we faced all good pitchers, thats why our offense sucks. I see you don't know much about him. That kid is a serious stud.

2007 MLB Catch-All Thread
Did anyone see the highlights of the Nationals/Marlins game? Matt Chico was horrifically wild, so wild that and threw one pitch into the stands. Hilarious moment. The commentators and the Marlins bench were laughing histerically and poor Chico was sweating bullets. That was the worst "pitch" I've seen.. maybe ever.

McCarthy Watch
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 07:33 PM) The comparison is a bad one in the first place. You're (not you, just in general) talking about one guy who had great K/9 and K/BB ratios all the way to the majors, pretty much dominating every level in the process, and another who gives up high H/9 numbers and who has very mediocre K/9 numbers. The comparison doesn't fit. Not to mention McCarthy was just a gem pick in what the 14th round? He was the one who dominated and made himself better. People tend to forget that B-Mac was not a first round pick.

No Witty Title
QUOTE(beautox @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 12:33 AM) on a side note, i see Joe getting moved to the NL(giants/phillies) in my eyes Joe Crede's value is 2 b level 'specs. from the phillies the following come to mind. MI Adrian Cardenas RHP Kyle Drabek From the Giants 2B Kevin Frandsen LHP Jonathan Sanchez great stuff but hes been sent to the giants pen, hes also had some health issues. They've already got Zito, Cain, Morris, Ortiz and soon enough Lincecum. As for Anderson, i could see the braves as a good fit for him. from the braves side i think we would have to send a little bit of pitching along with Brian to get Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Jones is a FA after this season, and they have on one ready to step in with a glove. i still think brian becomes a decent hitter 270/280 with 30HR. Saltalamacchia is a switch hitting catcher, and he has .300avg 30HR potential and a solid glove behind the plate. God damn those are hellova options. I can probably see one of those trades working too. My man love for you just increased. I still don't wanna talk about trades this early in the season but It's all fun and games right now I guess.

So Knicks win, Seattle is losing very big, Minnesota lost, and the Kings lost. The Blazers will also probably lose. Just a s***ty night as far as our bulls is concerned playoff wise and lottery wise.
