What purpose does Colbert bring to the conversation? He's a liberal in conservatives clothing. Most of his bits are actually MOCKING the GOP. I just dont get it. -

QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 01:07 PM) I was remembering this article, I think. Here is Passan's article. It wasnt the bats that let him hit balls farther..... -
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 11:45 AM) According to Jim Caple, Derek Jeter is the 6th best hitter in baseball because he has scored the 6th most amount of runs, deadspin breaks it down I read that earlier. Really funny rebuttal.

QUOTE (scenario @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 01:07 PM) Pujols is on record as saying where LaRussa goes, he goes, isn't he? And Reinsdorf says one of his great regrets was letting Hawk fire LaRussa. Why not right old wrongs and pull the coup of the century while we're at it? Buehrle for Pujols and everyone's happy

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 12:23 PM) Honestly, i contend that if the fan base doesn't like what Ozzie is doing, they should stop watching the f***ing White Sox. I did weeks ago

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 12:06 PM) Florida will fall in love with Ozzie Guillen. He is a rising star; already has one WS title before 50. Should get many more here, but too bad much of the fan base could not just accept the fact he knows what he's doing. For me it's two things: KW and Ozzie can NOT co-exist anymore. The infighting is not good for the stability of this organization. The crap with Ozzie's kids is over the top ridiculous.
-
I think i kinda wanna see both Ozzie and KW go.
-
This might add a little fuel to the fire, Ozzie just posted a link to the Sun-Times article about him wanting an extension.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 03:15 PM) Garage definitely not included. Wall space and air space (i.e. stair well space) also not included. Anything in a basement, also not included. Beyond that, you will have to look around on the web to figure it out. So, basically measure the wall-to-wall square footage of each room and add them together?
-
I need a little advice on how to properly measure my houses square footage. I have a three level rectangular townhome. Level one is a garage and storage room, level two is kitchen, dinning, and family room, level three is bedrooms. Do I just take the internal perimeter measurements and multiply times 3? Or do i need to factor out the area taken up by walls? How do i count stairs? I assume the garage is NOT included in the square footage?

Is it wrong to want the housing market in Orlando to remain depressed until my family can move down there so that we can get a nice house for cheap?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 20, 2010 -> 12:00 PM) There are plenty of Coyotes around where I live(Sleepy Hollow/Dundee). I actually saw one at the Route 31/I 90 on ramp waiting to cross the road like it was an everyday occurence The organization that I work for has at least 4 coyotes that live in the wooded area in the back of our property. They'll walk right up to the back porches of the houses on our property. They're fearless.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 20, 2010 -> 10:23 AM) How did they "luck" into INT's? Dont you have to be in position, to have coverage, to rush the QB? There are alot of factors into forcing an INT. The run game may be somewhat suspect, but then again, short passes to your RB are running plays in the Martz system. Forte has been very good. We also have a ridiculous passing attack right now with emphasis on spreading the ball around to WR's TE's and RB's. The Bears are hard to defend even with swiss cheese as the O-line. I thought Martz switching to quick "dump" passes to compensate for the horrible o-line was an absolute stroke of genius. He knew their rushers were leaving huge holes and took advantage of that. In the past, this adjustment wouldn't have been made until after half time, and by then Cutler woudl have been in an ambulance. -
I have two daughters 2 years old and younger. I'm not allowed to have a hobby right now. If I DID have time for hobbies, it would be pretty much anything electronics/computers and video games. Unfortunately, my dad wasnt much of a "handy man", so I never really learned much about cars, house maintenance, or gardening/backyard care.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2010 -> 03:14 PM) I have an urge to start dragging up posts about how awful this team is and how they're going 4-12, but I'll decline. I was one of them. Based on what I saw in the pre-season, this was a DREADFUL team. But I said last week that the Detroit game changed my opinion a bit -

The broken bat epidemic needs to be addressed. I've been saying for a while it was only going to be looked at seriously when a player gets impaled. Well.....
