  1. QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ Apr 30, 2012 -> 07:37 PM) You don't know dick about guns. Shut up. lol. What is this person's problem? Ban him now.
  2. Yu with 8 K's through 5 innings against Toronto. I don't know what he'll end up being long-term. Nobody does. But the stuff is real and that of a #1 SP. His s*** just dances everywhere. Nothing straight.
  3. Oh my goodness. Can this garbage be moved to fili? It's already home to like 12 of the worst threads in the history of mankind.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 30, 2012 -> 07:45 AM) AP is not even 7 months removed from the worst regular season of his career by far. That's not exactly an insult when it's Pujols. He had a pedestrian April last year (though this year is obviously worse). From May 1 through game 7 of the World Series, he was Albert Pujols. Let's see where he stands this time next month. If any player in the last 25 years or so, sans Bonds, deserves the benefit of the doubt, it's Albert.
  5. AP is not even 6 months removed from a damn near 1.200 ops postseason run. He'll be fine.
  6. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 30, 2012 -> 02:44 AM) Just laughed at this. Then cried. lmao. That s*** is hilarious.
  7. QUOTE (RME JICO @ Apr 29, 2012 -> 11:25 PM) Now at 22 games and 88 AB's for Pujols. He has never had a homerless month in the majors. Batting just .216 and OPS around .575 with just 4 RBI. Even if he returns to last year's form for the remainder of the season, he will only hit around 26 HRs and have 75 RBI - and this is the best hitter in baseball. Maybe those rumors about his age have more substance than everyone has thought. This just baffles me because he has been so good for so long, and now he just drops off the map. How did you come up with those numbers?
  8. QUOTE (farmteam @ Apr 29, 2012 -> 11:22 PM) Hey Grizzlies, here's a song for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3oBZ4_TNys Stunned. I was watching when the Grizzlies were up 25 or whatever, got distracted and started doing something else, went back to finish the game but changed my mind, as I assumed it was over. Didn't have a clue about what had ultimately occurred until I saw this post. I had Memphis in the conference finals before this debacle.
  9. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Apr 29, 2012 -> 12:54 AM) I love Derrick Rose as a player. I wish the best for him. I have friends who went to the same high school with him. I want to see him succeed and become the best in the NBA. Even if he is no longer a part of the Bulls team. If it takes trading him to Phoenix to protect his knee for the next couple of years, I am all for it. I want to see him regain his form and become the fun player I enjoyed watching the last 4 years, even if it means to see him in a Suns uniform. But seriously, can we get JR to sign the entire Phoenix Suns training staff this off season? They have done wonders to Grant Hill, Michael Redd, and Amare's knees, and Nash is still going strong at 38. Time to get rid of this current garbage training staff and get a useful one. And you say I'm not a real fan? You want to see Rose flourish and become the best player in the NBA for another franchise? That's like your wife leaving you for some rich f*** and you saying you want her to be happy in the end.
  10. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 09:08 PM) So what's a realistic scenario for this team during the playoffs? Losing in 6 in round 2? With the way Boston's playing, I'd say that's realistic. If the Hawks somehow won then they (Bulls) could definitely get to the conference finals.
  11. Pacers lose. Wouldn't that be just wonderful if the Heat got to face a Dwight-less Magic team in round 2?
  12. lol@the Pacers if they lose to this s***ty ass Magic team at home.
  13. This has to be the best 5-game stretch for Jake since 2007. He's been amazing. Too bad we have five hitters in the lineup who don't have a clue.
  14. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 08:08 PM) Roy Hibbert has 9 blocks. Big Baby's awfully easy to block in the interior. That's because he's fat and his vertical is lower than Luc Longley's.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 07:54 PM) If I were, say, Orlando? Absolutely. If I were the Lakers? The Celtics? Probably. About the only teams I'd say no are the Heat and the Thunder. Howard won't sign here. Lakers? Bynum ain't going anywhere and neither is Kobe. Celtics? Rondo? Meh. Maybe. But this is all futile. Rose is not getting traded.
  16. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 07:50 PM) SS2k5 is making it sound like GarPax should just dump Rose for scraps. That's what I'm saying. If you're going to trade Rose, you better get something spectacular back for him. Otherwise, just roll the dice that he can come back from this.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 07:46 PM) Hell, if I had cap room and you offered me Rose right now, I'd take him, unless I was trying to win a title next year. He's a better gamble than anything else i'd get for that money. You'd give up your superstar (or all-star(s)) for a player that might never be the same again?
  18. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 07:45 PM) You're right...Lester is just so damn good. We shouldn't expect the Sox to score at all this game. Would be completely acceptable. Not at all what I was implying. But fine.
  19. The Rangers are going to have a "decision" to make in regards to Josh Hamilton. We all know the risks with him. But holy f*** is he good when he's healthy/sober.
  20. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 07:40 PM) Cy Lester Is Lester a scrub now because he's struggled in a few start this year? He's one of the best left-handed starters in baseball.
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 07:16 PM) With his size, I wonder if GarPax have to start thinking about dealing him before he goes Iverson. They are similar in size and game, I fear that is who we are looking at. Who would touch Derrick and his upcoming salary right now?
  22. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 07:09 PM) and Roy had 6 or 8 knee surgeries as well so his knee was shot. Yeah, because he kept playing and re-injuring it. Forget about this year. The long-term repercussions are what's important now. After what's happened this year, I don't know how Rose could ever take the court again without having the fear of god inside him of getting hurt again.
