I see what you're sayin. And you're right. Nobody complained at the time. Nobody complained because Ginter never did anything for us. But was Ginter the problem? Or is our organazation the problem? Do we mishandle young pitchers? Kip Wells has become a solid starter for the Pirates. Rocky Biddle has become a good closer for the Expos. Now it looks as if Matt Ginter will become a solid starter for the Mets.

This is gonna be one of the most hyped up, exciting trade deadlines ever.

I still don't see the Yanks being able to land, Garcia. Even with their deep pockets. The M's want some solid talent in return. The Yanks don't have it. Or at the very least don't have the same caliber of talent we can offer them.

I realize every gm has pressure. But this Magglio situation is different. We need pitching. Everybody wants Reed or Borchard. Yet those are our main replacements for, Maggs. So he's kind of in a no win situation.
