RIP to an all-time great. This guy absolutely ran the show back in the late 60s/early 70s from a soul/funk/jazz fusion standpoint. And from a sampling standpoint, nobody was more important to golden age hip hop than this guy. He is a god in old school and late 80s/early 90s hip hop circles. I mean, he covers an endless amount of ground out there. You can live with bad defensive players at the corner OF slots with Matthews in the mix. He'd be a great investment at about 5 or 6 million per year.
