  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 22, 2008 -> 12:49 PM) Figgins can play everywhere. But usually not well. Especially not at the level of defense Uribe or Crede can play.
  2. Pilsen. Was in Bridgeport last year. Soon I'll be across the country.
  3. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 27, 2008 -> 08:13 PM) OH NOES!11!!11! It just gives me more options. Teams in my league need saves more than they need SP.
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 16, 2008 -> 05:31 PM) No haven't you ever played Mass Effect? Once we discover the mass relays at the end of this century we'll be able to travel instantly across the galaxy. +3
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 15, 2008 -> 12:43 PM) Glass bottle might actually be the best, but I have no idea where to find it. Easy to find in Pilsen.
  6. QUOTE (Felix @ May 16, 2008 -> 03:13 PM) You used to be cool Bob, but then I read this. At least you have all of their stuff though, it's worth having even if you don't like them. At least I've opened an empty can of coke and seen the goo at the bottom before... P.S. If you want some more Jazz, perhaps I can send you some. I don't know about your bandwidth limits, but talk to me in the chat and we'll see if we can work something out.
  7. QUOTE (Texsox @ May 15, 2008 -> 09:10 AM) Science answers how, religion answers why. Wrong. Especially in that sort of narrow minded context.
  8. QUOTE (dasox24 @ May 16, 2008 -> 01:00 AM) 2,322 songs... All of which I like and will listen to at any time. I personally don't like it when people brag about how many songs they have, but don't know a bunch of them b/c they just download entire soundtracks. Like my roommate who has about 6,000 songs but if you look at his "play count," there are probably about 2,000 that he has never played. I collect music. For instance, I have all the Beatles stuff, but I dislike the Beatles. I also like to give people music who don't have the totally illegal access I have to it. But there are certain things you'll never find on my collection, like... Blink 182 or Good Charlotte. f*** that. I don't listen to it all, no, but one day I might. I used to download jazz years ago and never listened to it. Now I listen to it just about every night. I also have a smaller HD that I can put into my pocket that I put my "essentials" on if I go out of town or whatever. The way I look at it, you can never have too much music, but certainly too little. Plus I don't pay a dime for it (here come the moral police... and the FBI.)
  9. Over 50,000 songs - 52,134 to be exact. A lot of days, a lot of hours, a lot of minutes, even more seconds. (I don't know the exact days/hrs/etc. because my music player doesn't care.)

    LOST!!!!

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ May 9, 2008 -> 02:37 PM) No, we are talking about different things. The time Hurley looks into the cabin, it's Christian. However, when Locke and Ben are together in the cabin, trying to talk to Jacob(Which is an empty chair), there is a split second that there is a body in the chair. The guy shown in the chair for a split second, if I remember right, was acted by Dennis Hopper. No?
  11. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ May 5, 2008 -> 08:53 PM) Scarlett is overrated All one has to see to sour on Scarlett is Match Point. The scene where Woody Allen has her rolling around in the grass with her fat sticking out and staring you right in the face, bouncing around, saying, "I WON'T GO AWAY, EITHER!"
  12. QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 8, 2008 -> 10:17 PM) Not a rumor, just Steve Phillips spreading his ignorance. The fact that this man carries the title of "expert" makes me sick. http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=3385066 Sadly, the Junior for Quentin part might not be the dumbest part of the article. Why was Steve Phillips fired as the Mets GM? That guy is a bonafied baseball moron. My favorite part of the article: 2. DUNN DEAL Use Adam Dunn's power as a chip to get pitchers. Go to the Giants, who need offense to replace Barry Bonds, and ask for Matt Cain.
  13. QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 07:30 PM) Wow, Mussina needs the Cy Young this year! He's amazing!!!!!! Yeah.
  14. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 08:40 AM) If this [40 Year Old Virgin] is only ranked 18th, the whole system is out of whack. I'd say the reverse. If this movie is even listed, the system is out of whack. It's nothing more than a popcorn movie.
  15. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 22, 2008 -> 12:00 PM) Mrs. Robinson, if you don't mind my saying so, this conversation is getting a little strange. 25. (tie) The Graduate (1967) This movie should be at least in the top 5. I didn't make a list. I didn't want to think about it too much. But The Graduate has done so much for film, it's almost a disservice to see it tied with AUSTIN POWERS.
  16. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 07:59 AM) s*** if i was blind i wouldnt be walking into no streets......... I'd get my home boys from da west side to hold ma hands and cross me over dat dangerous ass street. Shiiiiiit.
  17. QUOTE (AddisonStSox @ Apr 21, 2008 -> 12:01 PM) I contend that if given the same number of ABs, Ramirez's offensive production will be equal to or greater than that of Uribe--ditto for the course of an entire season. Hence, my question, is the difference in defensive ability so great that it merits the continued start of Uribe at 2B over the organization's other internal options? In my estimation, it is not. (For the record, Williams went on record as saying they were looking to lock-up Cabrera with a long-term extension. This all rests on the presupposition that Cabrera will be the SS for 2008 and beyond. It may have been posturing on the part of Williams. In any event, Uribe should not figure into this team's (or, any other team, for that matter) long-term plans.) Yes. There's only one player within the "internal organization" that deserves a serious look to start over Uribe right now. Richar. Uribe might be a joke at the plate, but he's no bigger a joke than Ramirez. However long it takes Alexei to catch up to MLB pitching, that's months of bad defense... and probably a worse offensive output. Somebody already said it in the thread; the Sox success does not depend on what Juan Uribe does at the dish. If it did, there'd be plenty of other things to b**** about. Uribe is a top tier SS playing 2B. There aren't any teams that can say they have that. The starting rotation is pretty fragile with Danks, Floyd and Contreras. I wouldn't say Uribe's glove is a commodity right now. It's a necessity. Whatever they get out of him at the plate, consider it a bonus.
  18. QUOTE (RME JICO @ Apr 21, 2008 -> 07:14 PM) That doesn't sound right. Cigga weed?
  19. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Apr 21, 2008 -> 07:12 PM) I cant wait for the book club to discuss this in chat tomorrow during the game SNAP! I'll be there.
  20. QUOTE (soxwon @ Apr 21, 2008 -> 05:35 PM) The Soxeth have been bequeethed New sig material right there.
  21. I'm going to eat a ding dong. Then I'm going to crap it out.
