I am having a good laugh reading this game thread. It's what the 4th inning of the 1st game of the season? I look forward to this almost as much as Opening Day itself.

I'll be keeping track via Gameday at work. Maybe even sneak a listen to Stoney & Ed. With all the bad weather and snow we've had this winter, it seems like we've been waiting forever for Opening Day. I'm so glad it's here. Let's get the season started on the right track!!

IMO, this trade would not make sense. Depending on who is involved, fine maybe we get a leadoff hitter and maybe a reliever. Who knows. But Joe Crede and Juan Uribe are still with this team. What is the point of trading PK and not either of them? A salary dump? Is Crede, Fields or Swisher moving to 1B? Something tells me this is all mlbtradeRUMORS and just that.
