Cleveland vs. Chicago 9-20-05
QUOTE(Reddy @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:10 PM) whoa. dude... chill... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm perfectly calm, surprisingly considering the circumstances. Living in Iowa, are you able to watch games?

Cleveland vs. Chicago 9-20-05
QUOTE(Reddy @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:01 PM) cut him some slack, he doesnt come around here in september so he wouldnt know that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, because I don't come to Soxtalk in September because of jackasses like you, I wouldn't know how Joe Crede has performed the last nine games he's been back even though I watch just about every inning of every game that is White Sox baseball.

Cleveland vs. Chicago 9-20-05
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 10:59 PM) Joe Crede is hitting .423 in September. Pablo Ozuna is hitting .194 in September. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 26 and 35 at bats into the month respectively doesn't prove much. As Tony pointed out Crede's been hitting the hell out of the ball this month, I just tend to favor what Ozuna does in the ninth spot over Crede. Last nights lead off double in the 8th also looms large in my mind aswell, considering the life that he showed compared to Crede who had none in his ninth inning at bat.

The Rally Crede
QUOTE(rangercal @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 10:53 PM) we all missed you :rolly <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This wasn't warranted.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 10:51 PM) Then scoot along and vacate the thread, the rest of us want to have some fun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds good, go White Sox.

Pablo Ozuna should be starting at third.

**Official 2005 High School Football Thread**
QUOTE(danman31 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:04 PM) How bad is our QB? The sad thing is that our O line might be better this year than last year's 11-1 team and our offense still is terrible. Our starting QB wasn't even on the team last year...and he's a senior. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, thats certainly interesting. do you go to the games? it was pretty funny, being one of the leaders of the student section, I was embarrassed. Somebody started a "where is Scheyer" chant, and all the GBN fans looked over at Scheyer sitting (as if he was michael jordan at a loyola game might I add) there with his girlfreind, and he stood up.

The Rally Crede
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 10:40 PM) Don't you have the Yankees to worry about? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yea.. ha.. We've got the rally buffalo for my Red Sox. Not to mention, why do you think I haven't been here in a while. You know its September when I'm not here...

The Rally Crede
Joe Crede is one of the worst players in all of baseball. He deserves no such praise. Give me something else to rally to.

Pro Sports Daily Reports
I think Bill Mueller is an essential piece to a 2006 White Sox team, more so than resigning Konerko.

Paul Pierce to be traded?
it needed to be said three times...
-
Paul Pierce to be traded?
Another Pierce rumor made up by a third rate publication created by fans no more inside than I. Ridiculous...

Mike Morse
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 07:06 PM) I am curious about this really being possible? Do steroids really stay in your system for over a year? Or could Morse just be trying to pass off another usage as a leftover? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Everybody is different, they can certainly stay in your body for over a year in trace amounts I am definitly giving Michael the benefit of the doubt here, this is just ridiculous.

Tentative 2006 Home Schedule
The White Sox hosted the Red Sox in late August, early September, for something obscurd like 6 consecutive years. Why the sudden change this year and next?
-
Congrats to AJ Pierzynski
QUOTE(YASNY @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 06:48 AM) A. J. Pierzynski is every bit as important to the success of the White Sox than Jason Veritek was to the Red Sox last year. Both guys do a damn good job of being field generals, handling pitchers and just being excellent all around ballplayers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Excellent post.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 02:45 AM) The idea was fine, just a terrible pitch to put in play. To make 3 outs on the bases though is poor, and that's how you don't score for 6 consecutive innings against bad pitching. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Andy Sisco couldn't find the strike zone in that at-bat. I see no reason to end an inning with a slow runner on base, and someone whose wild on the mound.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
what a ridiculous hit and run call...

Congrats to AJ Pierzynski
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 11:18 PM) Pretty much, I am tired of hearing about the RED SOX on a WHITE SOX forum and I think a lot of other people are too. So I basically gave my opinion. Other than that, congrats AJ as I said before. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you too often come after me as if im trying to relate something to the Red Sox. Some times I do, for instance in this case I think Jason Varitek is the superior catcher without a doubt in my mind, but he could be a Yankee and I'd still have that opinion of him.
-
Congrats to AJ Pierzynski
QUOTE(the People's Champ @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 11:37 PM) whats there to refute? whats fact is fact and that White Sox team ERA 3.57 (best in AL) Red Sox team ERA 4.81 (4th worst in AL) my friend........................................is fact!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> great argument, yup, you win.
-
Congrats to AJ Pierzynski
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 11:20 PM) Just f***ing with you dude, lighten up. It's all good, just lighten up on the Red Sox for my sanity. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course, no worries here, my freind.
-
Congrats to AJ Pierzynski
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 11:13 PM) You picked the wrong forum to advance that opinion. Evidence please. By the way, it should be "their right mind" not "there right mind." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That seems to be a common mistake of mine when I'm rushing, I apologize.
