QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 02:17 PM) If Politte, Cotts, and Hermanson regress a bit our bullpen will be in trouble. And they are all good candidates to regress since they all pretty much had career years last season. of the 3 id be worred most about Politte.... Hermanson when in the bullpen actually performed really well for the giants the season b4... he would have the occasional blowup but dominant mostly. Cotts Im not 2 worried about at all because I think he really is that good..... Hell if it wasnt for Jenks id love Cotts to be our closer.... Politte always had the stuff but never put it all together b4... but again im confident he will be pretty good at the very least.

If he does the combines or whatevr he will move up a round or two just because of the athlete he is. If I was the Bears I wouldnt hesitate using a 2nd day draft pick on him.... if he acts mature than its like having an added 1st rounder if he acts like an ass cut him with little affect on your cap room.

I heard Lendale White say an in interview that he wouldnt be surprised if Bush stayed because he loved USC and a whole bunch of other crap.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) I think people will like BAnd just as much as they did Row... Well since I was never a huge Rowand fan I hope I like him more -
QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 11, 2006 -> 07:13 PM) The Ravens also had one of the best Punt Returner and Kick Returners in the game. Bears can't figure out how to catch a punt, until recently. But, still missing a Kick Returner. The Ravens also a a Back-up RB by the name of Priest Homles.. Bears have Cedric "I stubbed my toe" Benson. You can compare their Defenese.. thats fine, but that is where the comparision end. Bears Offense will cause the demise of this season.. People will fail to realize that there is only one solution.. KW is still a horrible GM too.... all you did is bash the whitesox and everything now its the Bears...

QUOTE(kevin57 @ Jan 11, 2006 -> 03:30 AM) I'm not a hater, but I'm not a homer, either. A couple of weeks ago, I thought the Bears could make the Super Bowl, but the AFC being so dominant, they would mop the floor with any competitor from the NFC. After watching last weekend's games, however, I'm thinking that the Bears may be outmatched before they ever get to the Superbowl. Even though the Bears didnt play and beat Carolina b4 when they were coming off a 6 game winning streak? Idonno how that makes them outmatched. Not 2 mention only reason Washington beat us is because Orton couldnt lead the offense to 1 scoring drive not even a fg that would of won us the game. Grossman would of at least given us a fg.

QUOTE(R.J. @ Jan 11, 2006 -> 10:37 AM) People who are still thinking about Fields starting at 3rd in 2007 really need to find some video of him from last year or at least study his stats. Brutal. He's still a prospect, but he's hardly a sure thing anymore. I think you need to look at some video and some stats yourself.... Fields really struggled in the 1st half of the season but in the 2nd half he adjusted more to the pitching and starting hitting much better. Which is the main reason he is going to AAA. He did the same thing his first season too, struggled at first but than adjusted to the pitching and starting hitting really well.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 11:15 AM) I remember how a few people here greatly overrated Tyson Chandler last season and how he was so much better than Eddy Curry. Now Chandler looks like a bust and his contract makes me sick. But Qwerty said Curry was a bust and that Chandler is much more important to our team that cant be true! But seriously.... Gordon has improved on all aspects of his game since enterting the starting lineup. His shot selection is much better, he is passing the ball getting around 5 assists a game, and his defense is much improved. Also I think Kirk plays much better with Gordon in the game than he does with Duhon. I love Duhon but I always felt he was better suited off as a PG coming off the bench when either Gordon/Hinrich were having a bad shooting night he would get more time. Also Deng is still the man ... and Nocioni has been much better on offense this season its kind of remarkable. -
Idonno Kitna had that one pretty good year but other than that he has been kind of s***ty.... I definitely wouldnt mind him on the Bears though battling Grossman for the starting gig.

yeah we are way overpaying on this trade... I mean cmon Abreu is ugly!... Lisa Dergen is definitely >>>>> Abreu.

Anyone who voted No is just a downright hater... the Question said can they and in the NFC they can make it there. If they had to travel to Indy or play the Pats id be a bit moe hesitant but in the NFC where the only team they wouldnt be favored against is Seattle.... they very much so can make it....

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 01:09 AM) Mid-season promotions have everything to do with the player and how he is performing and injuries. Teams may have ideas of what they want to happen, but whether a player gets promoted or not has everything to do with how he performs. Well yeah if he sucks they wont but what I was asking is if he plays fairly well could we expect a promotion to AAA or is the plan to keep him in AA unless he puts up crazy stats.
-
So Sweeney staying in AA.... Do you know if they plan to promote him to AAA like mid-season or something like that?

QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 07:44 PM) have they ever had a decent offensive line? It's been a problem for them every year and for some reason, they cannot fix it. I don't know if it's been injuries or just some poor management, but it's about as clear as possible that they need an O-line first and foremost. Well when they first came to be they got that one stud guy from the Jags who was apposed to anchor the line.... but than he could never come back from injuries so that kind of screwed them... and than they have just been using draft picks on other positions.. QB, WR, CB... If I had a build a team from scratch id start on the O-Line and the D-Line... they dont get as much hype as the other positions but in my opinion they are the most important part.

QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 07:34 PM) Saying someone is a more polished passer than Michael Vick is like saying you are taller than a midget. Ron Mexico is a horrible passer.. its not that big of an accomplishment to be better than him. Ok but add that in that Marcus is just as fast or at least close to it as Michael Vick than you have a dangerous combo since unlike his brother he can pass the ball. From the games I saw he doesnt have the cannon of an arm but just way more accurate and more comfortable passing.

After seeing the Jags and Giants lose im so glad we have a very good O-Line.... both those teams O-Line was just horrible and the other team was constantly in the QB's face.....It seems in the playoffs the only team who can win w/ a makeshift O-Line is the Pats. -
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 07:00 PM) They have a really good offensive line and even better 3rd-down-playcalling! Yeah but if you want to compare O-Lines the Chiefs is >> Seattle.
