The top of the Cubs lineup will be a lot better. If Dusty Baker ever finds out how to make a ML lineup for his team, then he should know that Walker needs to bat in the #2 hole. He's a .290/.348/.441 hitter and is a good lefty who can hit the ball in all directions. Then guys like Derek Lee and Aramis Ramirez can drive in Pierre or Walker.

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 04:04 PM) Did he use this? He went here, http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/index.html but that obviously didn’t help because no one answered him. The thing is that he paid with a money order but he lost the receipt for it. Otherwise things would have been different.

Glad to see you’re alright, man. Sounds like you’ve been having/had one helluva day but hopefully everything gets better for you. BTW, I must tell you that your post is very reminiscent. And that most of your posts are. You're a good poster.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 12:27 PM) Report his ass to Ebay, that's in violation of their TOS. Does that even help? I remember my dad bought some CD’s, all of them worth around $25, and he never received them. He contacted Ebay to report the seller and he never received a reply from them.

The Blue Jays rotation, on paper, isn’t bad at all. They’ve signed two big names in Burnett and Ryan, but they need some help offensively. They can probably sign Sosa, then they’ll have a chance of topping the Red Sox and Yanks.

I don’t know about Lo Duca being overrated, but he is a pretty good offensive catcher. Lo Duca is a career .285/.339/.417 hitter, which is decent, but defensively he is nothing special. The Mets would have been better of with 29 year-old Ramon Hernandez who has a strong arm and would have asked for $6 million a year.

Just came home from school and seeing this news made me jump up and down. For me, Paulie coming back to the White Sox is bigger than the Thome trade. Konerko made the right decision of sticking here with us. Hopefully he can end his career here. Thanks #14!

I’m getting tired of ending up in 2nd. 2nd place sucks. -
This new forum seems like it’s going to be a good one. Hopefully everything goes okay for those that are buying and selling.

The good thing about Loaiza is that he’ll give you innings. You can pretty much count on him in giving you 200+ innings. He’s not a bad #4 or #5 starter for the A’s. But the amount of money that he’s going to receive is bad. For the A’s that is

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 26, 2005 -> 12:43 AM) Hell part of me is flat out excited that I'll get to see two different prospects develop next year (Bmac some more and BAnd). I feel the same way. The status of Orlando Hernandez is unknown as to whether he will be in the starting rotation or not. I would prefer if he would move to the bullpen, but who knows how he’ll take it. Still, he has to pitch through Spring Training. At that time management will observe and tell if he is healthy or not. If he gets hurt then it’s B-Mac’s time to step in. Just look at the ages of the possible starting rotation once the reg. season starts: Buehrle(27), Contreras(34), Garland(26), Garcia(29), McCarthy(22) Real nice if you ask me. Not to mention that we’ll have ‘em for some time.

I had to go to work today. Personally, I would have liked to go to Best Buy and start my Christmas shopping. Oh well. I’m pretty sure there will be more specials in no time. That’s how it always is. Once everyone is out of money, prices go down.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Hope you all have a nice one.

This is going to be a hell of an offseason. Sluggers moving from one place to another. To name a few of them: Manny, Delgado, Thome, Konerko, and Thomas.

I'm going to say this right now... I have a little brother who is 8 yrs. old. He does not know much about baseball but he does know who Aaron Rowand is. Aaron Rowand is his favorite baseball player. He has his baseball glove signed by Aaron Rowand! He will not be a happy man when he comes home from school. I'm gonna have to hate to tell him the news... -

Wow, I did pretty good (Week 11). I'm just mad that I didn't pick my Bears. Oh, and I'll never pick GB to win!
