2006 Opening Day Starter
It will definitely be Buehrle. He’s been getting the ball for Opening Day the last three years. Or is it 4? And after him, I would like for it to be Jose. The strategy that Ozzie had in the postseason with having Freddy as far away from the Cell was very clever. We all know how Freddy has struggled in his career at home. But since there are 162 games in a regular season, Freddy will have to pitch at the Cell at some point.

Carpenter won the NL CY
It was a very tough race. I had forgotten all about Chad Cordero. His 47 saves led the majors. Willis had a phenomenal season and The Rocket probably had the best season of his career. But overall, IMO, Carpenter does deserve the CY. He had only 5 loses throughout the whole season. He was healthy and when he was on he was almost unhittable.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 08:40 PM) I still think that was a f***ing bush play to the day. I got so pissed when Thriller didnt drill Hunter right in the f***in back after that. Meh, so be it. Sox won this year, Twins didn't. I'm cool. Please. Remind me of that season anymore, you will not. After that incident, everything went down the drain. Though this year makes up for all of that crap.

Bears @ Saints
Damn. I can’t believe I wasn’t able to see the whole game. I went to a funeral so I had to leave when the Saints had just scored their first TD. Though I’ll definitely be wearing my Bears shirt tomorrow when I go to school!

Oklahoma high school team loses 112-2.
You sure the Wildcats weren't playing by themselves? I wouldn't show my face for a while if I were the coach for Oklahoma's H.S. team.

UPDATED: TO Suspended for the Rest of Season
The Eagles are making a mistake by suspending their only good receiver. Good luck against a good defense Sunday.

Cubs re-signed Glendon Rusch to a 2 year deal
Rusch had a career season in 04 and now this season he came back to earth. I wouldn’t be surprised if he posts an ERA around 5 for next year.

Loudest Moment in the Playoffs?
I was only in 1 playoff game and that was game 2 of the ALDS. The crowd went nuts when a simple groundball went thru the legs of Graffanino. After that, Iguchi hit a three run HR to put the Sox ahead for good. Yes, must I say it again? Tadahito Iguchi. And later that night Bobby Jenks pitched a rare 6 out save for his first ML postseason game.
