  1. What's up with FutureSox?
  2. By the way, there was an article in the Sun-Times about the UCLA score and the basket was indeed waived off by the officials. The official score is back to 51-49.
  3. "Davidson beats Goliath" Love that headline.
  4. Also, what a joke the ACC has proven to be. They have yet to put a team into the second weekend(Although will more than likely do that tonight). Yes, I realize they are number 1 in terms of RPI, but, and I believe it was 101 who said it first, you are in trouble when Miami is your fourth best team.
  5. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: The one seeds are as strong as ever, but the two are just awful. They've back this up by having 2 of them lose before the Sweet 16, and the other two narrowly escaping victory.
  6. This is the worst I've seen Butler play in 2 years and they're still giving the vols a game.
  7. Good. Paulus mostly, but the rest of the Duke guys too, were talking trash the whole game.
  8. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 23, 2008 -> 05:59 PM) I just noticed the final score of last nights game is listed as UCLA 53 and Texas A&M 49. Ummm why? The dunk was clearly after the buzzer, and a quick youtube search of it proved that my memory is correct. Are there any gambling consequences that would cause them to count that basket for no reason? I know it doesn't matter in the result of who won, but that's still ridiculous. Odd, the officials had waived it off. CBS switched the score from 51 to 53, but immediatly switched back to 51.
  9. Another game, another terrible job by the refs. UCLA came this close to blowing their home court advantage.

  11. QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 03:44 AM) Just looking at some of the national top picks so far. Seriously, how much is luck to have picked WKY and SD? It's really not that lucky. You just have to go in thinking that there will be x amount of upsets. San Diego was the obvious one. They had a lot of big wins this year so if there was going to be a big-time upset, it was going to be them on the giving end. WKU is another team with a resume that rivaled most bubble teams. They were able to take teams like South Alabama, Tennesee, and Gonzaga down to the wire. When they were paired with a mid-major, well, it was obvious it was going to be close.
  12. Refs handing Stanfraud the game.
  13. Hey Lopez brothers, shut the f*** up. Thanks.
  14. Wisconsin looks flat out better early on.
  15. QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 09:07 PM) f*** the West just crushed me. I have Duke winning the Region. I hate the tournament I know the West is pretty awful, but why the heck would you pick Duke? No way could they possibly hnag with Xavier or UCLA.
  16. I like Joe Alexander.
  17. I actually had 3 of the 4 in the Tampa pod...and I'm still effed.
  18. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 01:51 AM) So how bad was the SEC this year? Bad enough for Kentucky to go 12-4 woul be the correct answer.
  19. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 21, 2008 -> 10:58 PM) Clutch! Times two!!! I bet I was the only one dumb enough to pick San Diego. Too bad my bracket is already effed.
  20. Don't call a TO there...
  21. WKU getting robbed, but this is the game of the tourney thus far.
