  1. I thought they were going to keep him around for another seaon.
  2. QUOTE(hitlesswonder @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 01:44 PM) Wright would have joined Illinois the year after Brown left, so he wouldn't have been playing with him. What? Wright is a sophmore, no? Dee Brown graduated last year, no? ... ... I will deny it all I want because it is simply not true. If Dee Brown hated Illinois so much, why does he make monthly visits there, even with the hectic schedule of the NBA? Why does he continue to show great support for the university?
  3. LOL AKA Weber won't pay us. You could replace his name in that article with Henson, Kruger or even Self while at Illinois and it would still have the same effect.
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 04:52 AM) Considering we all know what player I'm referring to, and that some of us are from the south suburbs, maybe I might just know this person's coach and best friend? So you're telling me that Dee Brown told Julian Wright to go play at Kansas instead of with Dee at Illinois? Nice try.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 16, 2007 -> 03:08 PM) He's not the only Kansas player who Dee told to go there over Illinois. Nice to see fathom again trying to get in a subtle dig in at Illinois on a situation he knows nothing about. And, jesus, I've never seen a bigger group of over reactors in my life.
  6. Missed just one today. The one year I don't take Duke losing early, they lose early. I'm cursed. Anyway, I got way, way less chalk going tommorrow.
  7. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 15, 2007 -> 09:52 PM) Dominating the high school game and dominating the college game are two very different things. What about his pedestrian junior college numbers make you think he could still be "big-time?" Just asking. I said he has a chance to be that. Basing this on that there are apparently major D1 programs recruiting him. I have no idea on how he has progressed/regressed in JUCO.
  8. QUOTE(danman31 @ Mar 15, 2007 -> 09:42 PM) Which one of @Kansas and vs. Texas isn't a good win? Texas at home Considering Texas A&M at home in double OT is the Longhorn's only real impressive win.
  9. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 15, 2007 -> 08:42 PM) AM trying their best to make me look good. We tried out best to tell everyone, didn't we? I have them losing in the 2nd round in every bracket I've filled out. A&M has gotten a free pass with one good win the entire season. Of course after I post this, they will go on a tear into the Elite 8.
  10. Angel was AMAZING in high school. I remember being 100% certain he would be big-time. Looks like he still has a chance to be just that.
  11. OSU WSU Maryland UCLA For one.
  12. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Mar 13, 2007 -> 05:01 PM) because he has a cool last name. /thread
  13. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 12, 2007 -> 06:21 PM) I must be one of the few that has Georgetown going out relatively early. Moi too.
  14. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Mar 13, 2007 -> 01:24 AM) The write in team. Kansas won't have enough time to prepare for them. You act like Bill Self prepares for games anyway. For one of my picks: New Mexico State over Texas
  15. Buehrle>Wood replied to PAUL KONERKO 14's topic in SLaM
    THANK GOD
  16. http://tcaa.puretecmo.com/nit06.html
  17. Apparently they are having a NIT Selction show on ESPN2.
  18. This bracket just has all the storylines: Kansas/UK- The battle of storied programs UI/SIU/Kansas- 3/4 of the great coaching carousel of 2003 IU/Gonzaga- Rematch of last year's pod final UCLA/Weber St- Howland's old school vs. his coaching job UCLA/Pitt- Howland left Pitt not too long ago And Duke getting a 6 seed is a storyline in itself.
  19. I'm liking TAMUCC as my big time upset special. Still not going to pick it in my bracket though.
  20. So Arkansas and Illinois both got in as I said they should. I can die a happy man.
  21. Syracuse had a terrible resume. I don't know why people are going nuts over thi. RPI of 50, lost early in conference tourney, scheduled a very weak non-con schedule, etc.
  22. Wow, Marquette an 8. Assuming Jerel is healthy. UNC may be in trouble.
  23. So the SC is obviously putting a lot of emphasis on conference tourneys. MSU??
  24. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 11, 2007 -> 09:28 PM) I thought he had them as the last team in? Also, to add to the leak issue I suggested earlier, Lunardi now has Arkansas in the tournament. Someone on another board said they were an 11 seed on there. I was assuming there was at least one at-large with a 12 or 13. If not, then I'm wrong.
  25. So the most accruate bracketologists(collegeRPI.com) have Illinois in with room to breathe.
