  1. Nice defensive swing on the 1-0 pitch, followed by the bat toss....terrible
  2. cough Bat Rios 3rd cough come on PK, flare one to right
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 03:31 AM) Or the same with Rios in the last 40 games. We've had a bunch of guys contribute this year, but these two have been crazy good for us. How nice is it to not worry about CF for the first time in a long time? I have the most confidence in those two to get a big hit
  4. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 03:29 AM) De Aza should get a token 10th place MVP vote from a Chocago writer. The crazy thing is that every time they show the last 10 games graphic, it seems like ADA is hitting .330 or something like that.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 03:23 AM) How about a leadoff double, bunt, and then single by ADA!! Single, bunt, double works as well
  6. Way to go ADA! Nice job by Ventura with the bunt
  7. Hell of a play by Callapso. Pujols wasn't close to being on the bag.
  8. Alexei with some great two strike swings tonight!
  9. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 02:23 AM) Is this team is as good defensively as the 2005 squad? No
  10. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 02:22 AM) Momentum shifter. We got this one. Who's their set-up man?
  11. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 02:22 AM) Let's get the lead this inning. How about a leadoff double, bunt, and then single by ADA!!
  12. Good job Nate Jones! Kinda shocked the Angels didn't bunt, but it worked out well.
  13. Huge double play! Be careful with Izturis, who seems to be a much tougher out than Iannetta vs the Sox.
  14. Ugh, no activity in the pen. Not good right now, it's the 7th inning and not the 5th Robin, you can use the better relievers.
  15. QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 03:16 AM) Ouch. Can you say platoon player? No, but getting Danks in for good match-ups against tough righties wouldn't be a bad idea.
  16. QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 03:14 AM) What is Tank hitting against righties this year? .230 with 67 strikeouts in 257 ABs. He's at .329 against LHP with only 9 strikeouts in 79 ABs. The problem is he's really struggling against RHP the last month or so.
  17. Oh Tank...I miss watching you face lefties. He has no chance tonight against Greinke.
  18. Darn, Rios would have tied it like I predicted. He's so awesome, bat him 3rd!!
  19. Konerko in a massive funk again, 1 for his last 20 and making really weak contact. He might have hurt his hand again a few days ago.
  20. Jeez, the ghost of Eric Gregg is behind the plate
  21. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 02:07 AM) Other than Blackburn you mean... Ha, yes..not sure why he wasn't showing up on the ESPN stats. Thanks for pointing that out.
  22. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 02:03 AM) Humber is what he is. 6th starter. If he's in there 7-8 more times to help the rest of the staff, and the Sox go 3-4 or 3-5, then he's done good enough. But if it's 1-6 or 2-6...then, not so good. If he starts 8 more times, then someone in the main 5 man rotation either hit the wall or got injured.
  23. 6.14 ERA on the season. You have to consider removing him from the rotation if he gets crushed next week. I'm pretty sure he has the highest ERA of any active pitcher in the AL.
  24. And another 2 out run allowed. Just brutal that Humber was given this inning.
  25. QUOTE (Noonskadoodle @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 01:58 AM) 82 pitches for Greinke through 5. Gotta get em out ASAP He'll get 7 with their bullpen issues. Downs is out at least.
