The only reason I commented in this thread was because the original poster said "great team", and not WS winner.

The worst move made by Garner last night was not having Palmeiro hit for Taveras in the 9th. I guarantee you that Palmeiro would have put the ball in play against Duque.

With likely 2 of the 3 in PK, Thomas, and Everett being gone after this year, we need to replace them with a strong lefty hitter at either 1b or DH.
