  1. QUOTE(iamshack @ Mar 6, 2008 -> 11:20 AM) No one chooses any college based on their athletic facilities, unless maybe they are a scholarship athlete. The point is that Harvard, at least in my view, which is a premier US institution, is pimping itself out to big money donors. I know no one chooses based on those facilities, that's why I said there would be a problem if that was the case. But yeah I think they are pimping itself out too.
  2. QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 6, 2008 -> 02:25 AM) For the longest time, Fitness USA would restrict days that women and men could go. If you were a guy, you'd pay your $500+ fee but you could only go like Tues, Thur, & Sat. Women went Mon, Wed & Fri. So, if you were a guy and you wanted to exercise on a Friday, you had to drive to the next nearest Fitness and hope that they had it alternated so you could exercise. FYI - Last I checked, universities were businesses. Those people who joined were fully aware of that, plus it was and equal distribution of male and female hours. Obviously there would be a problem if the weightroom was the final deciding figure for anyone going to Harvard, but anyone that goes to Harvard wasn't aware of the new hours because they just started.

I just saw an alternate ending of I Am Legend, interesting, but I liked the real one better.
  4. QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 10:02 PM) One question, can the best QB in the history of the NFL, like some people think Favre may be, be the all time leader in Interceptions? I'm not saying he's the best one bit but Cy Young leads in wins and losses just like Brett Favre leads in TD's and INT's. I'm also not saying Cy Young is the best.
  5. Oh come on now. I liked my title better, jk. But I have created a monster.
  6. I have to agree wtih Santo in regards that other groups wouldn't have special treatment like these Muslim women do. Even though since Harvard is a private school and they can do whatever they want, I would be extremely mad if I went there because I'd be playing the exact same for tuition, if not more because I don't fit any of the diversity criterias with me being a Christian, white male. Also, men can't even work during these hours, I'd be pretty torked off if my hours were cut by 4 or 6 hours a week when I'm trying to get a few extra dollars in my pocket. The best solution to counteract this is to make 6 hours for men. I thought it was odd that one of the men who wanted to go to the gym but was denied thought it was ok strictly because these girls have the same religion as him.
  7. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 11:03 AM) Rush Limbaugh has recently been encouraging his listeners to turn out and vote for Hillary so that they could keep the mess on the Dem side going as long as possible and so that either Hillary comes out as the nominee or she bloodies up Obama really badly. We'll see if Limbaugh has any listeners that will take his word. I saw Ann Coulter yesterday on Fox News, she blantently said it doesn't matter who get the nominee between Obama or Clinton because McCain isn't going to win. I don't take her that seriously though.
  8. UNI UNI UNI I figure I better go for my school.
  9. What if a bunch of men and I didn't want to work out infront of women. Should they take away certain hours for the women? I doubt that would happen.
  10. I had about 2 servings of doritos tonight and I feel sick. So far today I've had that, a bowl of cereal, a serving of pork, 2 granola bars, an orange, 2 pieces of pizza 2 toaster stroodles, and a lot of water and a glass of milk. I've eaten a lot and it's not the healthiest day either, hopefully I can make tomorrow better.
  11. This would be enough to piss me off if I went there. Especially if I'm paying that much to go to Harvard, I'd expect to go to the gym whenever I want. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080304/ap_on_...d_women_s_hours Someone want to change "gyn" to "gym", sorry about that.
  12. In a few months I'll be doing some job searching. My major is Public Administration, eventually I want to be a City Administrator, but I almost think it'd be better if I work under someone for a while, then branch off to a small town and work my way up, who knows though.
  13. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 07:55 PM) You mean in a half shell ha ha ha that's good.
  14. Great run for Huckabee with the little amount of resources he had.
  15. They're all great. I loved but hated Leonardo. I loved him because his color was blue, my favorite color, the swords was an awesome weapon, but hated him because he always got into fights with my favorite Raphael, plus even though the was the leader, he seemed to be too bossy in my opinion. Now I realize I only liked him because of his weapon and his color. I absolutely loved Raphael because of his strength and attitude. I have always liked the rebelious in him. When Turtles stopped getting aired I turned to X-Men and Wolverine gave me the same attitude as Raphael whereas Cyclops gave me the same attitude as Leonardo. What I didn't like about Raphael as much were his weapons, but they weren't too bad. I thought Donatello was cool because of his smartness, and I liked how him and Michelangelo interacted with each other. I never liked his color purple but now it's not a big deal anymore. His bo was awesome, at least I always thought that. Sometimes I thought he should've been the leader instead of Leonardo because of some of his qualities. As far as Michelangelo, I loved his attitude at times, because he was hilarious, but I thought he always got himself into too much trouble and tried to be funny too much. When it came to watching turtles, I liked the seriousness of Leonardo and Raphael more. I thought the nunchucks were always cool. As I've gotten older I appreciate the comedy he's brought to the turtles. In a way, I can relate to all the turtles based on their personalities, which is a coo thing about them. That's my review of the turtles in a nut shell.
  16. So that's the dude that started it all........well RIP.
  17. QUOTE(Soxfest @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 12:46 PM) Awesome news................Singleton will not last half a year at BBTN he is so boring! Hopefully he's better than Eduardo Perez, if that's his name.
  18. No offense to you guys, but the NFC North looks like it's going to suck next year.
  19. Good news for Singleton, but don't follow Harold Reynolds' footsteps.
  20. When I was in elementary school I used to hate the guy. The past few years I've started to respect him and the things he's done in his career. Either way whether you like him or dislike him, it's been a pleasure watching one of the greats play. I think you need to be retired for 5 years to be in the Hall of Fame.
  21. In my games Rafael was always the worst, but he did have massive strength. Plus he's my favorite.
  22. I've never heard of such a thing. That sucks for Pie. Just the typical injury report, Irregular heartbeat Bruised faced that was punched in a robbery attempt Twisted testicle & a sore right shoulder
