  1. This is all the trasnportation I need. I'm going to be riding it this summer for work. It's about a 6 mile ride round trip so that's not too bad. I love my bike, haha.
  2. I might be right in regards of Uribe starting, but it's not something I'm proud of.
  3. Nothing is worse than Ronnie Belliard's thuggish mugshot.
  4. QUOTE(kjshoe04 @ Mar 10, 2008 -> 11:10 PM) I love Rickey for the fact that he bats righty and throws lefty. A weird combo. Not too many people do that. I'm the opposite. Even though I'm left handed I through right handed for some reason.
  5. Does anyone know when the upcoming season's schedule usually comes out?
  6. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Mar 8, 2008 -> 04:53 PM) How coincidental, The 2007 TMNT movie is the HBO movie of the week Nice, I thought the movie was alright, I prefere the "real life" ones better though.
  7. That would suck being those refs. I'm going to agree with the call though, even though it's so hard to see.
  8. I don't think any of them are making this team. Maybe Jeff Liefer could make a team somewhere, I don't know much about the rest of them besides Tomo Ohka.
  9. The UNI student that regularly posts here is happy right now.
  10. Crede seems like a popular guy. Who is he?
  11. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Mar 7, 2008 -> 06:51 PM) Wow, we lost 21-1 today. Ouch. Yeah if a double header like this were to happen in the seaons I'd be pretty pissed off.
  12. QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 7, 2008 -> 06:48 PM) "Yoo got traded fer the hotdog eater. heehyuh heehyuh!" God, Brett Myers is such a hick. haha yeah. I'd take Ventura over Crede. Ventura wasn't bad at the hot corner, overall I think he was a better hitter even though he had less power. But I'd like to see what he could do with The Cell being renovated, maybe those numbers would've increased. He was also a lefty and 18 Grand Slams is awesome, and who can forget that Grand Slam single he had with the Mets. Question. Did they count that as a Grand Slam or not, I can't remember but I want to say no?
  13. I can't quite pull the trigger with Kansas City, those are almost too good of odds..........haha.
  14. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 7, 2008 -> 12:33 PM) I'm going to start another Crede thread tonight That should be enough time to get rumors going for him being traded to Japan for Kobayashi.
  15. I forgot to mention this a few nights ago, but I was watching a Utah Jazz game online and David Stern was in Salt Lake City. He was on the halftime report show and they were talking about him wanting to make 5 teams over in Europe. Stern said his plan was to have them alternate conferences every year meaning one year they'd play in the East and the next in the West and so on. One of the guys asked him how this is going to affect the playoffs and Stern said kind of dumbfoundedly that there would still be 8 teams for each conference. Basically one year there will be 20 teams trying for 8 spots, the next year 15 teams trying, although stern said 16 for some reason. Anyways I think this plan is kind of stupid alternating conferences.
  16. Go Bulls tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing if this team can play since I usually don't watch them.
  17. QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Mar 7, 2008 -> 10:48 AM) His stock is still very low right now. Keep him til the trade deadline, hopefully he'll have a great first half of the season. Then we can get a boat load for him. I think Crede has to stay and will be the starter on opening day. Even though Fields doesn't need any more time at the AAA level, keeping him there is probably the best option. Who knows if Crede or Thome can avoid staying off the DL this year, plus Dye is always an injury threat. I wish they wouldn't have ruled out Fields playing in left field because if Dye were to go down, I'd like to see from left to right Fields/Swisher/Quentin or Fields/Owens/Swisher, unfortunately it'd probably be Owens/Swisher/Quentin. Probably the best possible thing to do in regards to injuries is play it by ear. But there's not reason to trade Crede for a few bats and a bag of balls.
  18. This is already and interesting election, and as soon as it's decided between Obama and Clinton on who gets the nominee, it will only get better. For some reason I think the possible vice president could have an affect on which party gets elected. If Clinton were to get the nominee and McCain wants Huckabee to be his VP, there's no way she gets Arkansas. If McCain wants Gov. Pawlenty from Minnesota as his VP, there would be a slim chance, but nonetheless a chance of Minnesota going to the Republicans. As for Obama, he's hoping for the young voters to come out and vote, but unfortunately they never do, I won't believe it until I see it. Plus I don't know what percentage of minorities come out to vote either.
  19. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Mar 7, 2008 -> 09:16 AM) Didn't Butters' dad on South Park sneak off to one of those gyms? lol you may be right
  20. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Mar 6, 2008 -> 01:31 PM) I actually think Leo was a homosexual. lol amen to that.
