We got rid of our land line about 2 years ago. Recently, my wife was out of town for the weekend and Sprint decided to kill my phone for about 12 hours. I was totally out of touch, like I had been sent to another planet.

It's getting kinda interesting. We're 2.5 games back, they're gonna play NY, Boston and us in the next 10 days.

From what I understand, it costs a lot of money to climb Everest. I imagine, some people only get one shot. I'm not saying it's OK to leave a dying person on the side of a mountain, but if it's me climbing.....sorry Sucka.

I've missed most of the last few games but I've noticed this lately, if Thome has 2 strikes on him and you throw him high, inside heat, he's DONE. Is he also taking a lot of strikes and falling behind in the count a lot?

I love it. This team is far from crisp right now, even some of the D has been sloppy lately. Oz can say it has nothing to do with Detroit, but the fact that he mentioned them might mean they're on his mind.

Seriously, what needs to happen for Busty to get canned?
