  1. No one had any idea he'd last 100 innings. It sure didn't seem likely with his injury history and lack of SP innings. But he seems bigger and stronger and physically mature but it's a great development for now.
  2. 90 pitches through 6 for Crochet . Might be done. Should be done but he is on a roll now but protect the asset. Who really cares if the BP blows it again. Sheets !!!!
  3. Are you heavily drinking because I just answered a question you asked. Why would you get semi hostile about it ?
  4. LOL you did ask why an MSU athlete was being interviewed. I gave you the answer.
  5. DeJong RBI single to tie it and Red Sox throw the ball away. 2nd and 3rd 1 out Colas up. Colas with a hit through a drawn in infield to plate both runners.
  6. So now delay because some fan was throwing stuff on the field near 1st base.
  7. More limited than it was pre -injury and quite a few people agreed with me.
  8. Why is it stupid ,? The runner missed 1st base and advanced to 3rd on the wild throw . If the replay showed Grifol the runner missed 1st you appeal it to get the runner at 3 who is now at 3rx off the bases. The problem was the execution. You have to make sure the runner at 3rd is not getting a big lead when you throw it to 1st and you have to make a firm accurate throw. The throw which should be routine was on the foul side of 1st base . Vaughn missed it so he either wasn't aware there was an Appeal play on or he just whiffed on the throw. Too hard to tell by every replay of the appeal . Basically terrible execution but the decision to appeal was sound.
  9. 24 pitch inning 52 through 3. Inning complicated by a clear swinging 3rd strike that the 3rd base ump called a non swing a Crochet throwing error. Then the steal of home by the runner on 3rd on the appeal play after a mound meeting . Not entirely sure if the appeal play was also a bad throw by Crochet but Vaughn missed it. The replay did show that the runner missed 1st base. Also not sure if a bad throw cancelled out the appeal play . But the Sox did not win the appeal. Weird inning.
  10. Crochet gets a gift from the HP ump to finish the inning .Another 14 pitch inning. 28 through 2.
  11. Can't really compare Crochet to anyone else regarding an extension with his injuries and lack of SP .
  12. Free game of the day on the MLB TV app. LFG Mofos !!
  13. I've never seen the word hogmollies before.?
  14. He's made 1 All -Star team in the only season he's ever managed to play more than 98 games. He's made of glass like Eloy. Now hes a huge risk to hurt himself just sprinting in the OF and running the bases . What's his percentage of games played out of possible games played ? 50-55% ? I can't see how anyone thinks a broken down sports car that has good possibility of blowing up turning corners at high speed or just going full speed for a few miles is worth everything you think it is. What good is speed and power if it's hurt half the time ? Not sure what double plus speed and power is. It's highly doubtful he's as fast as he used to be with his multiple hip injuries. 38 HR last year ,great. 39 combined in other injury filled 3.5 seasons plus the shortened 2020 season. Also I'd like to know which teams have you identified as willing to give up the talent you think should be coming back for him. The option years in 26 and 27 are $20M per season . The Sox would probably be thrilled to let some other team figure out if it's really worth it to have so much injury prone superstar potential around and hope he can play over 100 games and be healthy for the playoffs. If he's traded at the deadline buyers are taking on a possible $61M or perhaps just about $21M for the rest of this year and 2025 . He could very well be a FA for the 2026 season. His bat better wake up soon and body remain uninjured for the next month + if they want get a buyer. I frankly doubt it's going to happen. Then it's the off-season to try again and if still no " haul" it's back to seeing if Robert can actually have an uninjured and productive 1st half when he's usually a slow starter and injury prone. Good luck with that at the 2025 trade deadline . Better hope he's playing at the mythical All Star level he's reached once so far or it's now time to decline the option and get nothing for him or figure out if he's worth the $20M for 2026.
  15. I think you're delusional 3 top 100 picks with a top 10 among the 3 ? No chance in hell and you be the 1st one to say Getz fucked up when he doesn't get that. The latest injury plus his upcoming salary has knocked his value to an all time low . I don't have a clue what they will end up getting but it sure won't be what you said.
  16. After the trade deadline . Have to let that play out. Wilson will be back and Justin Anderson back down.
  17. Exactly. Wilson had been out too. The losing streak and BP implosion started the day Wilson went on the IL and our middle relievers became our late innings guys. Wilson meant everything to Tom Hanks too. Hopefully this little tidbit of pop culture is not lost on too many.?
  18. Or someone who says they know someone who turns out to be a beer vendor.
