4/23 GT: Sox @ MIN (3:05 CST)
Kwan ran into the fence and while they were attending to him Myles Straw climbed the left field fence to have a face to face with some Yankees fans who must've been getting on someone.

Kiner-Falefa almost hit one out for a double against Clase with 2 outs bottom of the 9th to tie it up for the Yankees.

No way it reaches 10 games. If they were on the road and playing really good teams maybe but they can't continue to look so shitty for 5 more games against inferior competition.

I didn't miss, I just wasn't 100% sure about it, but only ChiSox59 actually questioned if he was being serious.

Don't look it up . Who are the 5 White Sox position players with both a 100 or more wRC+ and a positive fWAR ?

All the lefties we got and no Vaughn and Pollock and Leury 2nd ? When does Anderson's 1 game suspension start ? I'd be trying to get Pollock back into a groove asap since he's one more power bat and I would probably just keep playing Burger and Vaughn and Sheets too. I do admit it's difficult to keep Eloy, Sheets and Vaughn all in the same lineup. That line up is way too slappy. I'd put Leury 8th at 2nd base instead of Harrison. And maybe Grandal batting 2nd. Edit: Ahh I see you were making a little joke , reverse psychology and all that with that post. I didn't think it sounded much like you leaving Vaughn out and Sheets in and the rest of the questionable stuff. Although Sheets is starting to come around now.

ALong with punting the draft pick for Rodon that would make punting 2 draft choices

Leury didn't exactly stretch towards the catcher on that throw.

And if that is indeed the case there is blame on both Robert and Leury as I said before. Leury read the flight of the ball and the bad fielder correctly and easily gets to 3rd on the ball. Robert read all that wrong.

In little league you don't have professional coaches. I can't blame Leury without knowing if he was picking up McEwings sign to send Robert or if McEwing made his decision to send Robert based on where Leury was.

The ball was never inside Reyes glove .It was maybe off the tip of it or just beyond his glove or only hit his glove after it went off the wall. I'd have to see it again. Leury might've got back to 2nd safely if he's picking up a stop sign from McEwing.

Not by Reyes, it was slicing away from him. ANother thing Robert should know.

Jose being RH and the ball slicing away from Reyes is also something a good runner should do assess when the ball is in flight .

Right I did edit the post to say Leury had some blame before I saw your post. However if McEwing holds him do we know for sure that Leury wouldnt have got back to 2nd base if the throw ends up in the cutoff guys hands. Does McEwing send Robert because he see's Leury on Roberts tail or does he send Robert because he thinks with Roberts speed and a ball off the wall should score Robert from 2nd base ?

Reyes is not most RF. Read the ball and know the outfielder . Analyze, assess, that's what good base runners do.

Don't think so. As a runner at second you have to read the flight of the ball and know who the fielder is. Instead he had his back to the wall and was looking over his shoulder. Leury did that and Robert did not. Robert should easily score on that ball once it goes off the wall. He's already in scoring position at 2nd base with great speed. He could've walked home if he went even a quarter of the way to third. Obviously there is some blame on Leury too because he had to stop once he saw Robert still there.

White Sox vs Guardians GT 4/21/22
Blaming Leury for that is funny STone. Robert was looking to tag up instead of going half way on a ball that was to the wall with a terrible fielder in RF.
