Good for you !. Try to remember your son ,depending on how young he is ,wants to act like you so do your best to cheer and be positive . It's all about him and not if the Sox win when you are there. A ball game with Dad, win or lose should be a great memory that lasts forever. Oh and take pictures for so the memories remain fresh.

I think it's the easy thing to say "it's the staff " and maybe it is.But Eloy is the one telling them how he feels. So you have to think that he's done a lot of running and tested himself full speed quite a few times and done the requisite exercises prior to being put into a game. If they are asking him to rate his pain or discomfort one a 1 to 10 scale, typical HMO stuff, and you respond 0 when it's a 2 or 3 then that's on Eloy.

We disagree then. The lesser of 2 evils, which may not actually be true ,isn't a solution. You're trading one puppet for another. While Jerry's in charge getting TLR and RH out the door aren't going to happen but if they did then KW as interim GM also shouldn't happen. No one can actually transform the organization until the proper funds are allowed tobe placed in the right places. JR skimps in all facets of the organization so transformation isn't possible until JR isn't here. It's like you holding out hope for the Conforto signing. You're dancing to the same tune.

Kenny's part of the problem not the solution. Hahn doesn't make his decisions all by himelf. If Jerry has to stay KW doesn't .He's not an analytics guy, He insults the fans. He doesn't have to be a better scout. A good GM should have scouts and analytics people to consult when making trades. If it comes down to the GM's opinion alone on who you trade for and who to give up, God help us all. A GM's job is to narrow down the lists with a lot of help. I don't want a placeholder for the rest of the window. But that's exactly what Jerry would do . He'd just hire another puppet which is why Kenny would be the logical choice. I don't want logical by Jerry's standards of logic and that's what you are doing by suggesting KW.

Not bad agree with a lot disagree with a few. I firing Hahn is long overdue but Kenny's going to have the same problem which is JR is the boss . I guess maybe you said bring in KW because he's been there done that and and a GM search mid-season would take time. KW is past his prime like LaRussa and his heart might not be in it. I think the Sox need a Latin manager. Not a friend. I don't know if there are any managers left who can tell his team that they are playing like shit and even though they know they suck they need to hear it out loud. Their highs are too high, yet too few and the lows too low almost sulking low. Fun is fun. Celebrate the moment but act like you've been there before kind of manager. Tone down the fun because you're getting serious money so let's get done to business. The rest I'm fine with. But I'd also send Moncada a message. You're a 2nd baseman now until you start hitting like a 3rd baseman.

So by know your environment you want to encourage him to lie and say things he doesn't believe ? You've been in China too long.

He' salvageable. Remember was it last year that everyone was saying maybe Goldschmidt was done because he was missing fastballs and people came out with the analytics to support it. He turned it around . Go look how he played from July on last year and how he's playing this year. I mean it does seem odd that everyone is slumping together and some of these aren't slumps. Harrison is capable of better but he's not a difference maker anyway. Sheet's is going through the adjustment phase and hasn't found it. Who knows if he ever will. Moncada ugh, we all speculate of him about what's in his head, does he care, is he soft, how injured is he, has Covid affected him this long and weakened his whole body or is he past Covid ? Can he ever be healthy and approach his numbers of 2019 ? Eloy's a walking time bomb of health. Then a ground ball machine. Is he too stubborn to fix his swing to hit more fly balls or was it the coaching that turned him into a GB machine ?

I know the run n 1st doesnt mean anything but pinch run Leury.

Engel just plays the wall so well. Amazing grab !!

When a team hits it's ok ,when it doesn't mistake by managers become much bigger.

This is a statement game from Tony. Fucks with Cueto's rythmn in the 1st inning arguing a call that can't be reversed. Bats Harrison 2nd. Leaves Cueto in about 6 batters too long all with off days on the upcoming schedule.

Let's Go Boys ! Part Deux .

I didn't like the idea of Yoan moving to 2nd base when that thread appeared but I'm more open to it now. Yoan needs a wake up call like if you're not going to hit like a 3rd baseman we're moving you to 2nd.

Let's Go Boys !!

Dudes see a few pitches !!!

Sox is Sox and your Pasadena Days are still with you.

Saw the 1st 2 episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Liked so much that Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are in it.

Eloy took himself out of the game after a 1st inning single tonight in Charlotte.

Of course the 2 runs come after the LaRussa delay.

The biased Sox fan, hopeful me, says they still have a lot of talent that's under performing and they can't be bad all season. The cynical me says the Sox are infected with Reinsdorf Hahn Syndrome. Hopeful side wins. Better for the soul. Yes.

Watching a bit of The Hall of Fame Legends Game. Saw Jose Contreras strike out Nick Swisher and interview with Tim Raines. Raines and Contreras both wearing White Sox uniforms. Raines said he likes seeing Tim Anderson play.

Happy Trails to You !!

No game thread = no game ?

Except for the fact there is no game tonight ! ?

Hahn is a puppet. Reinsdorf is the puppeteer.
