At what point do we start to believe?
Nothing, just a happy fan.

At what point do we start to believe?
Well a lot of fans have a right to be mad at JR so hopefully he can loosen up the purse strings a little bit. But that depends a lot on attendance & CHSN subscriptions and advertising. It always has with JR so if Sox fans want the team to spend more money, they have to spend more money. Just have to be patient for when Ishbia takes over.

What an odd way to defend yourself. This is a White Sox forum . We are White Sox fans so yes we care very much about the Sox . No one is comparing life goals to hopes for a good White Sox future except you, a very odd little man.

That's about the last thing the panicans can cling to since that'll take a while to see if they can draft and develop some16 years olds to stardom. That and how sustainable this is. But Getz has got the team from point A to point B by surrounding himself with good people and building a White Sox way of doing things that is paying pretty fast dividends.

I'm honored you feel that way since you cannot provide one of my predictions to actually quote . While I have been not only reading the room I have been reading the universe while you have continued to rip everything White Sox, every little thing mind you, every little transaction to RIP Getz. Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees. I ripped you a new asshole on predicting when Robert would not be moved. Yet you'll post lies. I predicted Braden Montgomery would be up in June long before Ron's thread. I challenged Ray Ray about the success "right away" for Braden. I thought it was the right time to call up Montgomery while you called him a bust. Have you no shame printing your lies ? You should actually be ashamed of your stances on so many things. You are one of the most wrong people here, yet you denigrate me? And you have the nerve to call yourself a White Sox fan during a rebuild no less when the actual purpose is to lose. Sucks they had to rebuild again so soon so it didn't get the unbridled support of the 1st rebuild. I thought the purpose of tanking is actually losing to be in a better position to draft and other advantages. The 1st rebuild never got the 1-1 pick in a time when it was easier to get the 1-1. The 1st rebuild could never draft and develop it's own draft picks. You're about the poorest example of a White Sox "fan" I have ever encountered. You lacked vision except for tunnel vision, focusing on every thing that was going wrong instead of what was going right. I predicted Braden would hit a HR in the walkoff game. Technically I said Braden and Gonzalez so count that one as wrong if you want to. It's actually fun reading this thread just to see you and others desperately clinging to the losing seasons as a last grasp attempt to justify your idiocy.

And that's a momentum building first place in division WHITE SOX 2-1 WINNER
A lot of those hineybirds flew into picture windows when their heads were up their asses. They don't know what to do with themselves now that they can't lead the charge to burn it all down and curse all things White Sox. Never could see the forest for the trees. It was quite the cult for a while.

Teel and Mune have never played a regular season game together. Teel was supposed to be our 3rd LH savage this year. If you move Gonzo to DH he could be the 4th once he starts popping HR's.

Breaking News: ron883 totally vindicated - Braden Montgomery gets called up
Relief pitcher they converted to a SP in Charlotte. He got 4 starts but pitched only 9 innings giving up 10H, 4 earned runs, 4 BB, 13 K. With all that in mind maybe he pitches in relief for the Sox. He did good in a very small 7.2 relief innings with the Rays last year.

ATL DFA Carrasco and called up P James Karinchak. The Sox gave Karinchak a shot at making the team last year but too many walks at Charlotte so they cut him . Pitching at AAA Gwinnett, 2.45 ERA and 38:10 K:BB over 25.2 innings . So he's cut back on the walks. Hasn't pitched in the bigs since 2023. Atlanta recalled P JR Ritchie from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday. Ritchie had an up-and-down first stint in the majors, posting a 4.91 ERA and 21:16 K:BB over 25.2 innings in his five starts. It appears he will operate in a relief role this time around, providing the team with a bullpen arm capable of covering multiple innings. Brave also called up Rowdy Tellez.

AND HE LOOKS BACK, HE RUNS OUT OF ROOM AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER WALK OFF ROOKIE DEBUT WINNER
Probably but Getz is throwing crap at the wall now and seeing if anything sticks. That's literally been his job description for 3 years and frankly any GM worth his salt just keeps trying that kind of thing . Pitching is pretty much the only area he can do it in now. Rock is the new body , Sandlin had his turn, so now Rock .Getz does not like bringing up guys with command issues because they only get worse in the majors with the professional hitters who are more discerning about what they swing at.

He also said Meidroth had a bunt called but he ( Meidroth ) after seeing how close the corners were decided to swing away and hit into the DP. So sort of threw Meidroth under the bus unless he meant He ( Venable) took it off and threw himself under the bus. Only heard it once so didn't really get a chance to dissect the exact wording.

They have 7 games against Cleveland coming up in June, 3 at home 4 at Cleveland. There's a chance but if not in June it could easily happen in July.

To buy or sell...
This is mostly how I feel. Getz may try to fleece the Angels or Colorado for something . They've done a lot with Boston and we haven't heard anything about the PTBNL from the Hicks/Sandlin trade so might see something with the Red Sox again.

Braden had one in the locker room. Typically post game players interview is on the field with Brooke or in the locker room with reporters. Costas was in studio with Chuck and Ozzie.

Dude with the win and a Cleveland loss , the Sox are now 1/2 game out of first place. Win's are numero uno . You don't say go braves ! You put the f*** ups behind you and as long as you're still in the game with this team at home there's a good chance they pull it out. Trust the miracles the Pope is showing you. 😉

Not bad at all against a team from the stronger NL with the best record coming back from down 4-0 with 6 rookies in the starting lineup and our 2 best HR's hitters on the bench and our manager admitting he didn't put his players in the best position to win. Never give up !!

Ron come on buddy . If you're going to want to keep bringing up our good rookies you're going to have to hang in there as a fan and believe ! ( at least when they are at home)
