Reached a high water mark for the last 3 days in a row going from 3 to 5 games over .500 by beating up on our own division at home in front of big crowds and flipping the run differential into positive territory. I'd call that a very very productive home stand ! Unfortunately it also included the Mune injury . But we're going to get a good look at Jacob Gonzalez ahead of schedule so there could be some mystery universal forces at work here where you have to yin and yang your way to an even bigger upside. Sacrifice now for the greater good later. That greater good could include Murakami, Teel, Braden Montgomery and Jacob Gonzalez and maybe a revitalized Schultz. I know it's asking a lot of the universe but it might be fate.

And the only reason I'm responding to your post is because I just said the term "pulling on the same rope" to describe what Getz has created in one of my rants about fans need to start realizing that the last 3 years was a REBUILD. The same fans that supported the losing because it was a rebuild were too BROKEN from the failure of the 1st rebuild that they couldn't get behind the 2nd one because it was too soon . They were still supposed to be contending because Hahn talked about multiple parades and making it last not rebuilding. But they never actually made any effort to rebuild the foundation or culture because they were the foundation and they created the culture. Face facts you were hoodwinked. I have . It sucks, it really does and JR is still the owner and it's a worse version of JR now. But there's zero reasons to keep taking out your mistrust of the organization on the current GM. Murakami's good buddy Vargas often brings barking into the dugout and clubhouse and the Sox also promote Dog Days. They are cute like a lot of anime stuff is cute. Would be cool to see a few of them hanging in the dugout or clubhouse. Let's go Boyer you need more than bidets to make Muni feel at home here in Chicago. Also for the cat lovers among us there is Maneki Neko, also a cute anime looking figurine.

Because in spite of JR they are building it back up. Isn't that what you want ? I have no idea how it will end but if the goal is a World Championship with the current owner and current players it's likely not to end well. But in the meantime I'll be happy with progress against all odds. Money doesn't solve everything ask the Mets. You will be much happier with Ishbia and my guess is since even with money you still need a solid foundation and a pipeline of talent. To get as many AB's as possible against the majority of starting pitchers. That's all we really need him for now. Give him a lot of AB's and see if he can show his bat off. This doesn't mean he wont get time at DH or other positions occasionally. They want to put call ups in a position to succeed but since they were forced to call him up they will make it easier on him by just letting him concentrate on hitting and staying mostly at 1 position.

Breaking the 4th wall is a term used to describe how movie characters talk to the audience like they know its a movie usually in comedies whereas most movies are just stories. Deadpool had excessive use of breaking the 4th wall and Ferris Bueller famously did it and made "breaking the 4th wall" come into pop culture vernacular. It's funny but I originally wrote that post and put I will explain this pop culture reference if necessary since I had no idea what GLP1 was when Wegner referenced it. I figured Breaking the 4th wall was more well known than GLP1.
