  1. Ok win it in 10 just like the 1st game in TX.
  2. Nunez says if Yolmer Sanchez can do it so can I .
  3. Hey you were right , he didn't strand him. Might have to strand a different guy .
  4. I just hope Chavis doesn't do the Chavis things he did against the Sox their last series with Boston.
  5. Appreciate the vids and informative tweets fellas.
  6. Anyone can use examples of success with RHH's . It's just a fact because most players hit RH . It does not mean she s overthinking,You act like everything she said is an absolute when really its just baseball knowledge and common sense. Baseball's design favors jeft handers.
  7. What the hell are you talking about ? The Sox lineup is primarily right handed. Most pitchers are RH. Often hitters hit better against the opposite handed pitcher. Righties hit better against lefties and lefties hit better against righties. Not always the case but true much of the time . That is not old timey. It's true unless you meant something else. Therefore the Sox need some left handed hitters to present a more balanced lineup. In particular need a LHH middle of the order bat. LHH also get to 1st base faster on average since they start closer to 1st base. Great job of age discrimination knowing the poster is older and therefore making up some crap about using "old timey" outdated and useless info. https://www.deseretnews.com/article/705314249/Game-of-baseball-seems-tailor-made-for-left-handers.html read this and become knowlegdable
  8. It's always good having an NPB fan on here to give us interesting news . It's definitely an option that should be explored. It's about time the Sox dipped their toes back into the Pacific.
  9. That's why it seems to me that he's sulking. I'm sure he really isn't sulking but it seems like he rather do things his way and he disappears way too often .
  10. OK Jose stop sulking and do something good.
  11. Very nice of you not to say who the real idiot is.
  12. I never said Cease wasn't a better pitcher and there is no competitive standpoint. The Sox are not competing this year. Therefore Cease is not up and Despaigne is . The end.
  13. Who called Depaigne an innings eater ? And yes I am old enough to remember Terry "Tub of Goo" Forster and Goose Gossage. You should be old enough then to realize this isn't about who is better. Despaigne is a stop gap pitcher on a team that isn't going anywhere this year. It isn't real hard to understand. And back in those day service time wasn't a thing and it is in the CBA so both labor and Management agreed to it.
  14. He'd be a pretty nice upgrade in RF if all else fails.
  15. Timmy can ease on down the road this time !
  16. Seriously ! I mean the FO did it didn't they ?
  17. I appreciate the support against those who don't seems to understand that bringing up Cease now accomplishes nothing except the instant gratification of seeing him in a Sox uniform. Selfish reasons.
  18. He does before Cease. Cease is the future not the present. What's so hard to understand ?
  19. No chance Al.onso is gone. That would be a huge disconnect between Renteria and the FO if one day he's batting cleanup and the next day DFA'd
  20. Well if you want to believe a Rabbit that's up to you. His last 3 or 4 starts he hasn't had command of his fastball . If you think a 1.55 WHIP is good then fine. He doesn't belong up now. His last 3 starts he's walked 9 guys in 10.2 innings.
  21. He's not ready. He's not pitching well enough in AAA. You know I did mention he wasn't ready and shouldn't come up just to get lit up in a non contention year. Service time isn't the only issue.
