Records do fine in the collectors market and there are still groups that put out records . It might not be what it once was but it's not dead. And I was there at DDN too. WSI used to have a whole section dedicated to it. I am sure I wrote something in that section a few years ago although I really didn't post on WSI often.

A little proofreading help : Kannapolis is buried in the South Atlantic League standings, but it has been a total loss for the White Sox lowest full-season affiliate I imagine this was supposed to be "hasn't been a total loss " instead of has. Lenyn Sosa, 19, started the season off slow but has been much recently, hitting .262/.293/.443 over his last 37 games. Thinking this should be edited to say "has been much better recently ". -
I see Zorn and I think QB for the Seahawks. So no you are not alone.

This is where I am confused by HR tracking distance. Isn't it supposed to be measured as if the stands and the ballpark do not exist. For example the point from where he hit it to where it would've landed if it was allowed to travel unimpeded. Point A to point B would be the distance. Maybe that's the way they do it, I don't know.

I chalk that up to human nature not being a Sox fan. It's just easier to put people down than it is to boost them up. Any parent should have already learned that support is everything and putting your child down is just bad for their ego's and sense of self worth. Responding negatively out of anger and frustration is never a good way to communicate. Apply that thinking to everyone and you become a better person.

Try to make a trade like the Sox did with the Padres . Go for guys like Tatis or .... look at what the Astros' gave up for Josh Fields ( a relief pitcher). They got the guy who destroyed the minors then hit a HR in his 2nd ML AB, Yordan Alvarez. The Stros got him even before he made his pro debut. Isn't that the same thing that happened with Tatis ? Alvarez was signed for $2 million as part of the Dodgers' record $166.9 million spending spree (counting bonuses, big league guarantees and penalty tax) during the 2015-16 international signing period,

Well it's the internet and there are times when I have to catch myself from typing "U R" instead of "you are" and others things we use to make messaging faster . Contractions I probably learned in 4th or 5th grad so I think it just bothers me a little bit thinking is it the education or just messaging in general for the reason people use "of" instead of 've since its been over 50 years since I was in 4th grade. -

Hi grammar police here. You and many others use " would of", or "could of" or "should of". Did your English teachers not teach you about contractions ? That's when you take 2 words and contract them into one word by deleting a few letters of the 2nd word and connect the 2 words using an apostrophe, For example: would have becomes would've.Used in a sentence, " Cease would've been called up by now". Somewhere along the way would've, should 've, and could've, have been bastardized into would of, should of ,and could of, I assume because when you say it that's how it sounds. God only knows I don't use perfect grammar and I am constantly editing my posts because of typos but I see that mistake so often it always made me wonder how or why it happens.
