  1. Nice to see that he says he has matured and is more appreciative of what he has because of the TJ surgery. Worked hard to come back in better shape and it was paying off until the more recent injury.
  2. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?cid=&lid=&org=145&sc=&sid=milb&t=affiliate&ymd=20180728 https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/prospects/stats/affiliates DSL already won 9-8. Wilber Perez (Soria trade) pitched 2 innings 3 K 1 BB 1 H 0 R BIR: Banks (2-1, 2.70) WS: Parke (3-1, 3.16)
  3. He's now over 1.000 OPS on the road so we should all breathe a sigh of relief !
  4. Nail and head. It's like come on now Cordell we know you are better than you showed in AAA . Take some hacks in AA and get your mojo back because right now there's room for you (still) to show us something.
  5. Moncada and Anderson too . Throw them into into the OF mix . There's not going to be room here for the Engel's Cordell's Delminoco's and Palka 's so might as well get other guys who actually might be able to play CF competently into the mix.
  6. Just curious not picking a fight or anything but what makes you think he is finally fulfilling his potential ? He is on a small streak of pitching well. He's had much longer streaks in 2 other seasons. I think they usually occur in the 2nd half of those other seasons where he's been dominant over periods of close to 10 starts.
  7. might as well include fathom in that . he didnt think we get much but he probably thinks we didnt get much so theres that
  8. It's is locked now but in the Make a deal Joakim Soria thread I did pretty well for a guy talking out of his ass. "On a true contender he's not sa closer maybe not even a setup man. 7th inning glue guy. DSL team needs some help that's all I got. Maybe a decent AA player. "
  9. Free to all BP article on how SOria reinvented himself to become more effective this year, https://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article/41572/rubbing-mud-joakim-soria-slider-monster/
  10. Don't know anything about his framing stats but he looked decent at it against the Sox .
  11. Knew Drury would be moved somewhere. Yanks really had no space for him on the roster. So the Yankees did well here Drury still has some upside though no idea if his glove plays at 3rd base . Probably not .
  12. I was just about to ask if anyone thought this trade will end up with some minor league promotions with the guys you mentioned eventually coming up to the Sox.
  13. For sure it makes a lot of difference if the high k rate is based on him over using the slider . That will take its toll on the arm.
  14. Guess we will have a wide range of reports coming in . If thats the case my bad for trusting Longenhager.
  15. Maybe thats when he was drafted ? Its lower now according to Longenhagen (88-92)
  16. Well he doesn't throw very hard and has the control issues so I'd say his ceiling and floor are both lower than some have said.
  17. I attempted to look up Wilber Perez from Brewers DSL scores and a link lead me to BF page of a 5'9" 41 yr old Cuban pitcher
  18. That seems like a good return if its just a one for one trade.
