  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 15, 2008 -> 11:49 AM) He is definitely a great shooter, but when I saw him down state last year, he didn't do much else. Not much of a penetrator and his defense didn't stand out. Not saying he can't improve at all, just didn't seem like a big time college recruit is all. Is he a Sampson recruit? Yeah. Of this year's class, Roth and Pritchard were Sampson recruits. Jobe, Williams, Story, Dumes, and Jones were all Crean gets.

QUOTE (Kid Gleason @ Oct 15, 2008 -> 08:42 AM) Not one friggin bit. Not a fan of the Foo Fighters? Bush? Pearl Jam? ANYTHING grunge/post-grunge?

QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Oct 15, 2008 -> 01:43 AM) I miss Kurt Cobain. Don't we all. Nirvana is one of my favorites.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 14, 2008 -> 11:46 PM) Will Indiana win a Big Ten game? I think we'll sneak a few. Northwestern, Penn State, and Iowa are the most likely targets.
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 14, 2008 -> 09:07 PM) I question some of the Indiana recruits (Roth), but if I were an Indiana fan, I'd be kind of excited about it this year. New vibe. What's with the Digger Phelps reference edited in the title? Booooo. What about Roth? I've heard he's got one dimension (beyond the arc), but he's DAMN good at it. I'm excited to see what Nick Williams can do the most.
  6. This is going to be an...interesting year for IU basketball. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Crean and his ragtag bunch can pull off.

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 04:24 AM) I see. FWIW, I've been to plenty of shows by myself. If you wait around for other people, you sometimes miss out on cool s***. Ah, I should have been more clear. "Other people" = "Someone with a car."

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 02:02 PM) What's keeping you from doing it? Transportation, if other people want to go, etc. And really, I've only just started listening to them (actually, it was your vehement support for them LMB that got me to listen to a few things, and it went from there), so it's not a super huge deal either way.

I'm considering making the trek to The Hold Steady/Drive-By Truckers in Louisville.
  10. I don't know if Palin was strong in the beginning, as some have said. Not only did she not answer questions, she did it blatantly, and kept switching for energy. At one point early in the debate, I can't remember the exact words, she said something to the effect she would talk about what she would talk about, regardless of the question.

  13. Oh. I completely was thinking about this the wrong way. I thought it meant unlimited length of terms. I don't think there should be term limits on most offices.m However, on things like the President, maybe they can't be in office for more than two terms in a row. However, if they lay off a term, they can run the next one.

QUOTE (Kid Gleason @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 12:00 PM) Does anybody know who does the song on "Mike And Mike In The Morning" that has the line (the only line they play) "Ruby, Ruby, Ruby"? Not so easy to Google the dang thing when all you have to go on is "Ruby" and "Mike". I believe you are referring to Ruby by The Kaiser Chiefs. http://www.songmeanings.net/lyric.php?lid=...822107858642840

Never Said -- Liz Phair It's so hard to think of certain letters when forced to; thus, I come up with Liz Phair.
