Yeah, check the giant game thread in ATH.

Pitcher Brendan Donnelly of the Angels was ejected
John Kruk basically just said he admires Donnely for cheating. His words were something like "I admire the guy for doing whatever he can to win, he doesn't exactly have the best stuff in the world."

Sox won't be adding an everyday starter
I'm fine with the rotation as is, we really don't need an everyday starter for what it would cost.

Picked up the new Baseball America Mag
If all players are allowed to play (i.e. the teams don't interfere), I honestly would give the Dominican Republic as much chance as winning as the US.

Questions for Dave Wilder
What what would you say are the odds getting a deal done with Danks? In the draft, do you prefer to go with the "Best Player Available" strategy, or would you prefer to fill a need in the system?

A Myriad of MVP Questions
1) What can be done to update the rosters for dynasty mode? Is there a way to get Sosa to the O's, Delgado to the Fish, etc. without ruining the integrity of the game? Well, if you have online access, you can download rosters from online, which should have fairly-updated rosters (Like, don't expect mid season stuff, but things that happened too late in the offseason for it to be in the game should be there). Also, you can do it yourself, if you want to. 2) Do you guys recommend plugging all the minor leaguers in or would that take far too much time? It's up to you, really. For the bigger name minor leaguers, their name might no be there, but they could have a player based off them (For example, I think there's someone named Buhner on the Mariners to represent Felix Hernandez), so you can just edit their real names in. 3) Should I create Tadahito? Did any of you guys? It's up to you. Do you want Willie Harris or Gooch as your starting second baseman? 4) What constitues the "default" rosters for dynasty mode? In other words, can I put Sosa to the O's, Delgado to the Fish, before actually opening up dynasty mode? Or, is there a way to do these sorts of things once inside the dynasty? Default rosters are the rosters that come with the game. You can edit the rosters before dynasty mode and save them, and just use them for dynasty. It's easier than doing it in dynasty (which I don't think you can even do). I hope that answered your questions.

Jackson Verdict is in...
QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 04:20 PM) Typical... rich guy gets off ....if it were any normal person they would have went up the river.... Ah, yes, but if it were a normal person there wouldn't be a 250+ post thread about them. I think the fact that as a culture we are so tuned into the lives of celebreties is more sad than that whether or not Jackson was found not guilty.

Jackson Verdict: What will it be?
Before the verdict came back, I was thinking not guilty on all except disttributing alcohol to a minor (that was a count, wasn't it? Some minor charge, anyway). I was wrong. For the record, I honestly don't know if he molested anyway, but he is still one messed up person, I think.

I found one of the new commericials I like
See, that's the point of the advertising. They want you to talk about the team (and thus remember them), corny commercial or not. This thread is a prime example that their strategy succeded.

Which pitching rotation was the best

Fast Rising Broadway Selected by White Sox
QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 10:20 PM) Thank you, I much appreciate it and enjoy writing tremendously. Although it saddens me somewhat when I read Dostoevsky, as I am now, or Nabokov or Vonnegut and I think, "Damn, I'll probably never write as well as this." But I've always been told I write well, so I take much pride in that. Maybe one day I'll turn my rants into some weirdo piece of fiction, who knows. Big into the classical lit, eh? OK, here's a fairly easy question: What is the subtitle to Slaughterhouse Five? Also, name two of Dostoyevsky's novels. Yes, I'm very bored.

whose the most hated sox pitcher?

White Sox fan question
Nothing is wrong with going to a Cubs game. It's not like you're sleeping with the enemy. It's more like you're sleeping at the enemy's house.

KW: I Suck at Amatuer Scouting
Enough's enough, keep it within the PM's guys. Anyways, I'd say it's a good idea for KW to step back and let the others do their jobs, especially since he knows he's essentially useless with it.

FUTURESOX IS BACK
If I were into that sort of thing, I'd run around in my thong flaunting myself while sreaming "Yippeee!". But I'm not, so I won't.
