QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 12:57 PM) She has a nice body...but. I feel like Paula Abdul commenting on Haley Scarnato. Oh, well. To each his own. An admitted "Idol" fan...*shudder*

That was the shortest game in the history of white sox baseball. Wow...just woke up...put on coffee and turn on game to see shefield get hit on an 1-2 or 0-2 pitch. I thought 'SUPER'...shortest game ever. f*** me

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 09:29 PM) I'm very impressed with Danks. He really has gotten some bad luck over these past few games. I like that he is under heavy influence from Mark. He has the stuff to be a good one. Aardsma, Massett what can I say. These guys have been studs! Aardsma is just sick!! me too on Danks. The guy could very easily be 3-0 right now. I've been very impressed with him...doesn't even get rattled. I love it. If I was a Ranger fan....goddamn I'd be pissed.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2007 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 08:19 PM) Ouch! I feel kind of bad for Brandon. I actually hope he does well. I wonder what the Rangers boards are like tonight. That LarrytheLegend guy on the Rangers board is ready to kill somebody. Don't blame him.

QUOTE(Whitewashed in @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 09:16 PM) Good job on the comeback. Aardsma just continues to impress. Great win, keep it going. ^^^^ Thank you Jim Hendry!

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 06:04 PM) My friend is telling me you can always blow on your hand or lick it even as long as your off the mound. I thought you can never lick it and can only blow when given the green light by the ump at the begining of the game. Someone clarify it please. My understanding is you can lick your fingers...but off the mound. I thought you could always blow in your hand, on the mound or not. Not sure if there are different interpretations for different levels of ball. But that's what I always had to follow.

Tell ya one thing about Conor Jackson though...he's absolutely an ABYSMAL first baseman. -

QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 12:31 PM) A few people have mentioned Callaspo as exactly the type of leadoff hitter we should have, possibly replacing Iguchi. Good luck prying him from them. I love the kid though. He'd be a great pickup. Maybe he does....maybe he doesn't. "Not that there's anything wrong with that...." -
That story tells me a few things: 1) Mark is just a regular Joe. Nothing pretentious about him and hopefully KW will do everything in his power to keep him on this team...even if he reinstates tarp sliding! 2) Neal Cotts drives and drives.

That was a f***in shocker? -
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 03:49 PM) - R. Cano flied out to center - M. Cabrera grounded out to shortstop - J. Phelps homered to deep left - J. Posada singled to center - J. Posada to second on fielder's indifference - J. Damon walked - D. Jeter singled to left, J. Posada scored, J. Damon to second - B. Abreu singled to left, J. Damon scored, D. Jeter to second - D. Jeter to third, B. Abreu to second on wild pitch - A. Rodriguez homered to deep center, D. Jeter and B. Abreu scored So let me get this straight...with a base open with 2 outs and the hottest hitter in baseball at the dish...they pitched to him. If this happened to the Sox...this place would have a meltdown of epic proportions.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 01:18 AM) BTW, cheers to Hawk and DJ for letting the 9th inning pretty much play out, and letting the images speak for themselves. Good point Tony.

I've actually been to two no-hitters in my life. Wish I would have been at tonights. That was incredible. My first...my dad drug me to Wrigley when I was 7 (only game I've EVER been to at wrigley by the way)...but Kenny Holtzman threw a no-hitter against the Braves. And living out here my wife took me to a D-Backs game for Father's Day and got front row seats at BOB (now Chase). It was Randy Johnson vs Jimanez or something like that for the Cardinals. too lazy to look it up...but the Cardinals won 1-0. I still remember Jack Morris no-hitting the Sox on a Saturday afternoon nbc game of the week.

QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 09:25 PM) Congrats Mark. I'll wear my jersey proudly next week. I remember Wilson's no-no 16 years ago. This one was much more special. Me too. I went through a 12 pack putting my gas grill together while watching. It was great. This one was twice as nice! Very happy for Mark!
