Meh...I'd have a had time. I have a hard enough time now staying interested with the Sox blowing that last handful of years. Probably would follow my local team a bit more...and still have spring training. It's hard to say. I'd probably delve deeper into Sun Devil baseball....

it's easy to b**** about the bullpen...but why Putnam was taken out for Downs is still beyond me....

I'm not gonna miss him...and yes by all accounts he seems like a good guy...but goddamn...every single time Robin goes the bullpen it simply goes to s***. Too early....too late...whatever. I'm still scratching my head why Putnam was taken out...but honestly...it really makes no difference anymore.

Just read this morning that after his release Putz said he hasn't been able to put his finger on his struggles. Said his arm felt great...felt great during long toss and playing catch with different pitches...but for some reason it just hasn't translated to the mound. Thinks it's just a mechanical issue that he/coaches are missing. If the Sox think they still have a run in them...I'd say he'd definitely be worth a flyer.
