I'm still in the bring Gardy in camp...but ya know what...at first I was soooooo against the even remote idea of bringing Ozzie back...but I'm thinking WHY THE HELL NOT?!? Maybe he's what this team needs. I think with the personnel before he got old...but with the younger guys and Latinos they may just thrive. At least it would bring back some life. I know I'm reaching at straws...but Robin clearly isn't getting the job done. I told my dad back when he failed to challenge that play..."he's over his head". Something needs to be done. and btw...could somebody explain to me just exactly in the hell Kenny Williams even does for this franchise anymore?!?...fetch JR's coffeee? I've scratched my head about that the last few years.

Penny looked great today IMO. Really one mistake...but had great velocity and his off speed stuff was nice. I have zero problem with him as #5...but of course you know it's not for a full season. If this is the worse problem the Sox have....we're ok.

I'm ridiculously excited about ASU baseball this spring. First off they've moved away from that God-awful Packard Stadium and revamped the old A's spring training digs (Phoenix Muni)...and they can sell beer there now too woohoo!!! Plus...new head coach Tracy Smith has brought back some stability to the program. It might take a year or two for ASU to get back to the upper echelon of teams...but you can just sense a completely different vibe from the team and how they play this year. Plus...it's been evident that he knows how to handle his pitchers and bullpen than with the Esmay. They started out with a nice schedule...3 with Oklahoma State and 3 with TCU...with one Oklahoma game sandwiched in there. Stated the season 4-3...but all but one game has been decided by 1 run.

it was mid 80's here last week and spectacular. FINALLY talked my dad into coming out (he's never been) and have almost 2 weeks off the beginning of March. This is the most excited I've been for the start in quite some time and excited to take my dad out to Camelback!

with the way teams blow thru relievers during any given week...I wouldn't have a problem bumping it up to 27 or so. Might save some arms too...

this is a fantastic write up....thanks for posting. One guy I'm pretty excited/curious about that could end up a steal is Ynoa. Feast or famin...but that potential is ridiculous.
