i posted this in another thread last night, but it deems repeating wednesday is my weekly bowling night, so as im bowling during league play, im also watching the sox game on some nearby tv's.....iguchi goes deep and i go histerical along with about 3-4 other die hard sox fans in my league....the next game of bowling, i proceed to roll 8 straight strikes to start the game and end up with a personal high of 268... my spirits havent been so high in so long... thanks gooch and thanks to all the white sox im still convinced the sox gave me the power

i love the sports guy and he is a die hard boston fan, he roots for them like crazy so i dont fault the guy at all....he is a great writer, but i think he knows deep down, the chisox have a slight advantage

i was all for throwing a s*** lineup out there one of these days.....today is the day, tomorrow start half your starters and sit the others and sunday play only the starters, thats what i would do

There is a hilarious exchange that took place during the preseason i believe.....it was between hawk and dj and they talked about their favorite movies....goood stuff....ET was then mentioned and dj, the idiot we all know and love mentions et's finger that lights up....then hawk mentions he'd like to take a finger and shove it up dj's rectum, something along those lines....its way to early, but someone could do a search for the thread

that graph really helps. thanks. knowing the sox have about a 3% chance of not making the playoffs, makes me feel better.

we have 88 wins now, i assume 95 wins is typically good enough to make the playoffs......7 more wins in 17 games is about as bad as they could do to be honest.....i think they can get to 96 or 97 wins in my opinion and should be fine

I'm upset Mags is gone, only cause I loved his talent as a player, but can you imagine if he did resign in the neighborhood of 10-12 million. That means no Dye(obviously) but more importantly,possibly no AJ, no Gooch, no El Duque, no Hermie and who knows if the Lee-Pods deal would have went down. I wish Mags the best for his career, its just unfortunate the Sox will always be better than Detroit.

I hate this,"because they are in the same division crap". The KC Royals have no chance of competing on the same level as the rest of major league baseball unless they trade sweeney. The Pirates traded with the Cubs twice now in deadline deals in 03 and now in 05, so its not something that is uncommon.

just because beltran, pedro cleared waivers, dosent mean that the mets will actually trade them......they are just eligible to be traded, but the mets are still alive, so why would they trade either.
