QUOTE(ChiSox9 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 10:02 AM) First off, I am rather new to posting so bare with me. ESPN insider just made comment that the next 24 hours are critical for the Brewers in becoming a buyer or a seller. In the event of being a seller, Carlos Lee will be considered for a potential trade. With that in mind, 2 corner OF will be on the market which could reduce Soriano's trade value. Question: Could KW be waiting to see if CLee goes on the trade market to lessen the value of Soriano forcing WASH into reducing value favoring the Sox??? Quite possible. If Caballo is available that drops the Soriano price tag quite a bit actually.

QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:38 AM) haven't watched much BBTN lately, but ESPN is really about "company" guys IMO. Maybe he wasn't towing the line like they wanted. Didn't he do the Home Run Derby with Berman? Maybe he complained (No info to back that up, just HATE what Berman has become and get sick whenever he's covering an event, so just using this to bad mouth him!) Berman is the worst. Its amazing how he gets to pick and choose his gigs basically. How does he host ESPN's US Open golf coverage? Did he become a golf expert? Why does he get to do baseball play by play for select games?(i.e. red sox, yankee game) I could go on and on about his retarded ass.

Just wait til this sarcasm goes from just that, to real. What number would he wear...13 is ozzie, 3 is harold...i say give him 69.

We has a 15 game last year and it got down to 1 or 2 games at one point. So anything is possible.

Have the Innings Caught Up With Buehrle?
dmbjeff replied to chitownsportsfan's topic in Pale Hose Talk
dead arm is more for guys who are flame throwers. look at freddy for instance, previous fastball in the low 90's now its in the mid to high 80's. i dont think mark has lost velocity and velocity isn't why he is good. its location for him and he has said himself, he as left too many pitches over the middle. if he has a problem its either in mechanics or the brain. -
i'm in too....i tell u what, if this happened 2 yrs ago and we were still the 2nd best team in all of baseball, no one would have had a problem. everyone would have said, hey it was the yanks and red soxs, it happens. but coming off the WS everyone expects our boys to be on fire each game out. now i'm no fool, i realize our pitching problems. but i have faith in kenny, ozzie and coop to get things straightened out some way or another. hopefully the big 5 turn it around in the next 2 weeks, if not, kenny will fix it. jerry had invested too much money not to get it right. now go get 2 of 3 from the tigers.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:25 PM) This ass-kicking this wknd might be the best thing that could have ever happened to this team. lets hope so, im starting to get sick -
QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Jul 14, 2006 -> 03:53 PM) No way would I trade Garica. Besides, Ozzie won't let that happen...Fact is Garica wins games people! No the offense has won most of the games Freedy has pitched, not Freddy himself.

I have noticed nobody has mentioned the salary dumped in moving either Vaz/Garcia. Does anyone think this opens up the possibility for another trade right afterwards to improve CF or SS? Andruw Jones or Miguel Tejada? I'm not trying to be XBOX GM here or anything, but I could see moving a pitcher as a precursor to a bigger deal. Thoughts?

Maybe an UH-OH in the radio booth. I can hear it now.

There shouldn't have even been warnings issues since it was clear and obvious Ponson wasn't trying to hit our guys. With the bases loaded and no outs and down 10+ runs, you do what you can to get out of the inning, not hit guys and add more to the deficit. MLB umpires are retarded.

I love when Singleton brings up NASCAR, happens about once per game it seems. Farmio hates NASCAR, as do I, but the fact Singleton does it just to tick Farmio off is the best.

as hard as he hit that fence, extra padding wouldnt have stopped him from breaking his nose, it was just bad luck but an awesome catch by aaron

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 10:26 AM) I hate how this area is blacked out. I really would love to have it for April and September, when I don't have CSN. But from what I understand, the Sox games would be blacked out. I can't hear today's game, but I do have the radio thing, that came with the Sox Pride package. That was mainly the only reason I bought that. Thanks for all the info guys, we got the package and were both able to access games yesterday. I have a cable modem, so I didn't experience any delay. As for the blackout policy, maybe they lifted it this year. I was able to watch the Cubs game even though it was on WGN and also able to watch all the games that were being televised on ESPN, which I thought would also be blacked out.

I'm glad he will be there. I wonder if any other guys who have an off day Tuesday will come?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't all too sure, so I apologize in advance. My roommate and I are considering purchasing mlb.tv for the 2006 season. With all the fantasy leagues we each have going, we thought, hey why not? My question is this: If I'm logged in from home and he wants to log in as well from work, will it work for both or will only one of us access it? Thanks

i also imagine u are ina 10 or 12 team league because u dont have any holes on your team....if u were in a 16 or 18 team league, trading pujols to upgrade at anothe rposition and still not losing too much behind pujols, then it would be ok, but your team is set

If Bobby is in a McDonald's commercial, that would explain everything. He must of had 50 Big Mac's while filming the piece.
