  1. Who wants to come up with another "X"?
  2. QUOTE (Tex @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 11:46 AM) eventually f*** it, let's go bowling.
  3. Zelig wants to play. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Aug 8, 2009 -> 10:44 AM) Fields would have to CLEAR WAIVERS in order to be dealt. There's no way, despite how bad he's looked, that he would clear waivers. Wouldn't he just have to get past the four AL teams who have worse records than Toronto?
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 8, 2009 -> 07:21 AM) He definitely couldnt stop himself the other day. In regards to him being too old to do his "moves", whatever. He took a misstep and fell off the stage, it happens, even to young guys and women. I don't give a s*** what he does, because I don't pay attention to Aerosmith, but when I happen to see a clip of guys like him or Mick Jagger or ACDC dancing around the stage in tight pants like they did when they were twenty, I think they look ridiculous.
  6. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Aug 6, 2009 -> 02:31 PM) So Steven Tyler fell off the stage the other night and had to be taken to the hospital. I hope he's ok, but man I sure hope that puts an end to his 'dancing'. Those are some of the goofiest moves and they were never cool, even when he was young. Not to mention that he is over 60 years old and still doing that goofy s***.
  7. "Happiness is good health and a bad memory." - Ingrid Bergman (1917-1982)
  8. Very cool, thanks for putting that up.
  9. QUOTE (lostfan @ Aug 5, 2009 -> 07:54 AM) No. They have something like that but it's unavailable in the United States. They want you to use DirecTV. Thanks, I guess I won't be watching many Bears games from home until the Rams start getting blacked out.
  10. Does the NFL have anything like mlb.tv where you can watch the games online?
  11. Jim Thome has already said that if he gets into the hall, he will wear a Beckham cap.
  12. QUOTE (son of a rude @ Aug 2, 2009 -> 01:05 AM) Not to be a nit picky grammar police asshole, but I caught this when I was reading it. He may consider himself and organization guy and just be happy to be playing affiliate ball, but in my opinion it would be a tragedy if he never got a shot in the majors, regardless of the team. These articles look pretty profession to me, and I assume that's what you are going for. That's why I pointed this out. Just proofread before you post it I guess. It makes it look more professional. Other than that, it looks good.
  13. KW interview coming up on this station soon if anybody is interested http://radiotime.com/station/s_23633/101_ESPN_1011.aspx
  14. KW is supposed to be on this station in a few minutes. http://radiotime.com/station/s_23633/101_ESPN_1011.aspx
  15. Did I miss something or is Contreras still in the rotation?
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 31, 2009 -> 04:49 PM) Find a quote anywhere of me even implying I was done with this team and I'll never post again. There's a difference in thinking the team is not good enough to win and should sell off some parts in an attempt to get better, or just saying I'm simply done with the team and will never cheer for them again. You don't have to drink White Sox flavored kool-aid 24/7 to be a fan. Sorry, I misquoted you. You said, "I've seen enough". I guess you could say there is a big difference.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 31, 2009 -> 04:17 PM) J4L forgives you. I thought you were done with this team?
  18. Does anybody know if those opt out clauses were part of the deal?
  19. What about that opt out bulls*** that he wanted in the original deal?
  20. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 29, 2009 -> 12:08 PM) I love the price is right, but their Pricing isnt always accurate. They use MSRP or "list" price which nobody would ever pay because you can always find it cheaper.
  21. I went to see TPIR a few years ago. If you want the chance to be a contestant, plan on spending about 11 hours at the studio. If you just want to watch, you can show up about 30 minutes before it starts. If you want more details about what to expect, let me know.
  22. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 10:22 PM) He's not going to blow the team up via waiver trades. Trading Dye isn't exactly blowing the team up. He could be signed after the season unless his $12M option was picked up.
  23. Not sure if this is posted anywhere else, but Mark will read the Top Ten list on Letterman tonight.
  24. It took Bobby 4 or 5 pitches to load the bases in the 9th inning of a one run game and then walked in the tying run. Fans in any home stadium would start to voice their frustration.
