  1. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 17, 2009 -> 06:48 PM) Hell no, I loved No Code...it was strange enough to scare all the bubblegum rock station PJ fans off, and original enough to hook the rest of us real fans. It's in my car CD player right now.
  2. I usually go to a few games in KC every year, which is cool because you can get good seats and they are relatively cheap. Not the best place for nightlife, but I guess you can find some good barbecue.
  3. Is this conversation for real? I did not like the fans booing Wise after 2 ABs either, but never once did I ever even consider that they were racially motivated.
  4. Stealing signs isn't necessarily cheating, it depends on how the signs are stolen.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 03:47 PM) Today was exhibit A on why wins in most cases are a poor way of gauging the quality of a pitcher. Unbelievable that Gavin gets the W. He.was.horrible! Loved the offense. I wonder what our LD% for this game was. Ropes all over the place. Makes up for his previous start.
  6. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 12:37 PM) i get mine from 4info.com, free and u can costumize it. Thank you very much!
  7. Anybody remember that site that will send text message updates every half inning?
  8. They never show the Sox on Fox here. We get an NL game regardless of who is playing.
  9. Wow, Joe Martinez got nailed in the head with a batted ball, he was able to walk off the field though.
  10. Way too early to start something like that with a team we play 15 or so more times.
  11. The drive of the game was a single up the middle
  12. I don't want Wise in there any more than anybody else, but the rest of our team isn't making much contact.
  13. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Apr 8, 2009 -> 08:37 PM) Floyd should have hit Teahan. The bad blood is from the series when K.C. hit 5 Sox hitters Coco Crisp would look great on the Sox right now. This offense is going to struggle all year. The starting pitching better be lights out. With a man on 3rd, it's risky, shoulda just walked him.

Nashville is the only place on that list that I've really gotten to experience. I don't know what you're into as far as music, but the Wooten family plays "garage funk" at this place called 3rd & Lindsley every Wednesday night. It's a nice change from the s*** kickin' country that you'll hear at most of the clubs. If you want something a little seedier head to Printer's Alley for some fine adult entertainment.
  15. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 8, 2009 -> 12:39 AM) f'real ive been listening to my avatar a lot lately. better then odelay. That album is really nice. I saw the Flaming Lips open and then back him up on that tour. Pretty freakin' sweet.
  16. Can anybody tell me what the blackout policy is? I live out of state. Also, can two people be signed in to the same mlb.tv account at the same time?
  17. Can somebody provide a brief summary of what has gone down so far?
  18. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 7, 2009 -> 06:35 AM) Did someone say he didn't buy into the Dave Duncan strategy as some sort of compliment? LaRussa and Duncan don't have a great reputation of working with young pitchers.
  19. Anthony Reyes has got talent, we saw that first hand. I'm afraid a change of scenery may give him a big boost like we saw with Floyd.
