Last month I went to the true false film festival in columbia, mo and was able to catch the interrupters, the new doc by steve james of hoop dreams fame. I can't endorse it enough. Especially in Chicago, it should be a very important film. Now that i think it's showing some places up here, I thought i'd give it a shout out. Not as long as hoop dreams, and very, very powerful.

It's only 2 games, but generally am pretty excited that they seem to be hitting the ball out of the gate. Very happy sox fan, so far.
