Been following the twitter fights on whether to trade Robert. Hard lines drawn on something that nobody views that impactful. On one side, some fans would rather keep due to painfully thin OF and dreams of 70 wins. On other, some fans point out he’ll not be around for next contention window and may get hurt and should trade now. Both seem to admit he’s unlikely to get much either way. So…don’t really care. Trading people is fun when they get back good players. Trading this guy to uh save money and optimize control but also he sucks and will get back nothing - not that appealing to me so who cares.

Eh I think it’s reasonable. There is a decent chance Murakami is unplayable, but you won’t sign a hedge and have him “compete”. For Sox it’s a no brainer, but Red Sox have to worry about losing April / May to bad production before they can find a replacement.
