  1. It’s not real. It’s not real. It’s not real. It’s knot real.
  2. Sean Bradley is the last true insider.
  3. No. It keeps popping up with same thing. That isn’t a person.
  4. I’d much rather just roll with Rondon.
  5. Kinda screams agent trying to position his player as option b doesn’t it?
  6. Dang when did Ruiz burn one?
  7. I hope he gets at least one weird thing in the contract like a giraffe with a cape. Sad if he spent his contract splurge just on money for him and his friends.
  8. He has heard them in same places we have heard them.
  9. Sure seems like Machado has been less prolific on instagram. That's not really interesting, just wanted to change subject from the last 20 posts.
  10. The Sir kindly updated the whaling thread with the big whopping news of the last few hours.
  11. Well he forgot Jay,
  12. That's cool. I wonder if they are allowed to invite some local talent as a recruitment opportunity.
  13. I like the hire. If the last few years should have taught the nfl anything its that whatever it's CW on what makes a successful head coach is clearly wrong. Some guys are going to fail big, but complaining about guys coming from unconventional backgrounds falls hollow to me after seeing the performance of recent coaches in the modern nfl. And maybe it's even the structure of what it means to be a HC changes.
  14. I think he's going to be someone like Javy Baez that finds value in something we don't even thinking about (tagging, slides). Obviously, since we need to beat the dead horse, he does not have the power of Javy Baez. But when people look at his profile and just assign a slashline to him, I don't think that will tell the whole story of him.
  15. It's a weird mix of being down on madrigal and also penciling madrigal in at second base already and moving the active roster around to accomodate. Kid just needs to play. I think he'll be great and be a weird player that succeeds in ways we can't anticipate now.
  16. That $1 million buyout for the team option is nice.
  17. I think people put way too much stock in Madrigal's performance last year. It was post college world series, moving to new town, and he was pushed harder than every other player drafted. I expect to see major improvement this year.
  18. Agree, and if these were done with less certainty, I think there is a 4th option where sox feel their bid is comfortably ahead where NYY can appear attractive, and are doing this so that if they are close/match with phillies they get the nod.
  19. Thanks for all of the content NS72 and best of luck! Welcome Clinton!
  20. Well, man the nats front office has always leaked like a sieve however.
  21. That cost is a good way of thinking about it, I always worry most about how easy it will be to trade. Each extra year of dead money seems harder to shed than sharing one last year or two with exchanging bad contracts. Regardless, both easy to swallow if it means getting to watch Machado for his age 26-32 seasons.
  22. But the answer was with us all along, Leury Garcia, king of kings, is also projected to have .1 in 275 ABs. Combine the two together like a megazord and you got yourself a stew going.
