amazing after Colson's "slow" start he is up to a .915 OPS in Birmingham, which still features a completely good .200+ iso. I kidna thought when I went to go look it would just be .800 or so boosted by his crazy OBP, but the late power has been more than I've realized/followed.

I thought the standard was pretty much everyone goes on waivers. Is this because they are all on the irrevocable waivers?

There was a time where I was intrigued, and that was 2020. We had no minors, just the schaumburg site. We needed to use Dunning, Stiever, Crochet for meaningful baseball, and brought up Madrigal, Luis Robert, *Collins*, for meaningful innings. Considering the circumstances of coming up from a place that had no competitive baseball, I was impressed at the performance. Maybe that environment he had more control over and oversight and is a sign of things to come. But he certainly didn't carry those lessons forward to the next years. What we got from call-ups continued to get worse. There is a severe lack of talent in the system, its' true. It's also hard to point to something we are particularly good at developing, as we once were with durable pitchers who have strong command and cutters. The prospects we have seem to be just pure talent plays. Hard to say based on Colson we teach patience well, he's a unicorn. Hard to say based on Mena we can teach harnessing multiple breaking pitches well, he's a unicorn. He's been in this position for 7 years. He is very affable though, he'll be less annoying to listen to then Hahn. He was a good listen at soxfest.

Rhymes would have seen a functioning org. And Getz has not. Rhymes would have worked with talented people he can bring along. Getz has not. Your only qualification for Getz is he’s not responsible for everything wrong. That was also Hahns playbook.

what a sad sad sad sad sad sad sad state of affairs. I can't really cut down any more than I already have. I only paid for one game this year, as part of a tee ball package. I had a 20 or so game package just last year. Seems like 100 years ago though.

Coulda had $50. Getting the medical report which states the bullet is lodged in the persons leg, and was not in the seat behind, makes it impossible to believe it could have been anything other than fired by them or near them. I still don’t buy a cover up. This person may have been able to ditch the weapon as the security said the team didn’t know she was shot until she was in the ambulance. Probable she could ditch the weapon since apparently she was walked out.

I’m excited by his year, but he needs to cut down on his strikeouts. His year in bham is a little SSS, some weird stuff. Next year, if he can increase BBS and cut down Ks, even marginally, that will be the indicator. That said he hasn’t seen increase in k% as he’s been promoted.

I’ll take the warehouse and jobs over the decrepit gambling site personally.

I read in general the struggle a lot of local country clubs are in for members. You look at that glut of south shore ones, and you wonder if that’s not a big ole set of opportunity. With how much homewood flossmoore has given the city in announcers and sports talk, we can give them the keys to a sports complex.
