I feel like the past year has actually just made this board much better at gauging markets for players. I'll say that players like Shields/Soria/Avilan are very hard for me to figure out actual return pieces, but the expectation of either older blocked players or younger interesting backend pieces seems right.

In minor sad news, pretty sure Jose Rodriguez is injured. He was absent last few games, then looks like he was subbed out of this one after 1 at bat.

It sure as heck sounds like his arm is a plus tool from his teammates and futuresox reports.

Considering how TB is using their bullpen, not sure this matters.

Remember when lopez had like 8 solid starts in a row last year before he was promoted.

Eovaldi was a guy I really wanted us to sign last year to flip. Interesting guys the rays get back in Beeks.

With him being sandwiched by signees I'm hopeful it happens today.

Yeah AZL really annoys me. They brought over the entire DSL roster basically from last year and are playing these 17/18yo guys like once a week. Maybe there are a ton of other baseball activities happening that make the development still better than DSL, and I don't know. But Coronado, Kleydar Sanchez, they may be garbage at end of day, but for now they are 18 year old guys who had a promising first year statistically.

Lawngents, I'm at a loss. My nice green lawn that I was very proud of started turning brown in spots, and I thought it was a watering issue. I kept watering and watering, then realized there is no way it could be water at that point. I applied scotts broad spectrum fungicide 2 weeks ago now, and it does not seem to have stopped the spread. I applied it but did not water it right away (was not sure). Any idea what to do? Brown doesn't have spots that I have seen, just kinda browns and dies.

I would actually bet that the Bears rarely will run out 4 wide sets, the TE position (even if split wide) will be a big role as it is in Philly/KC.

I think there will definitely be games where it quick sands and everyone is poorly executing and one step off, but I'm very excited. They may also just end up with a solid base of plays that can exploit the bad defenses they face but for now can't overcome the better talent defenses, that would be an improvement. Being the best bad team isn't something they've been able to do for a while, and that can also get you in the playoffs (though maybe not in this division). I guess that's basically the lions.

So in one of the articles it talked about how when he was struggling offensively they let him “take a break” with defense and focus back on offense. He immediately was great. Have to wonder if maybe he’s back to focusing mostly on defense knowing he can hit at AA if he wants
