Looks like Gronk is a go today. Coming off an injury and with who the hell knows at quarterback, it'll be interesting to see what he does tonight.

Who Will Be The Next Manager of the White Sox
QUOTE (Coach @ Sep 22, 2016 -> 05:51 AM) My vote? Tom Hanks. Does anyone think this is a bad choice? #hirehanks

It's a joke that Paul didn't win but damn he just killed himself by not taking James. He still should have won but I'm having a hard time feeling bad for the guy cause he f***ed up.

Who Will Be The Next Manager of the White Sox
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 21, 2016 -> 01:05 PM) At this point, pretty sure Coop would have to murder someone on the mound. Or Sale murdering him.

Not to make fun of the thread starter cause it's a fair question but who the hell knows with this organization.

Smackdown continues to be really good. The Bliss-Becky segment was perfect, Alpha-Usos was really good, Ziggler-Miz was great and the Main Event angle continues to be fantastic. Talking Smack was awesome again last night too. Tweener Ambrose(or whatever the hell he is now) is about 8000 times better than goofy face Ambrose, happy he's back to more of his Shield character.

It's completely fair to be down on Jay and still understand that changing coordinators so often has probably affected his performance because how couldn't it?

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 09:36 AM) These taunting penalties are so god damn stupid. Terrell Pryor got one for accidentally hitting Ladarius Webb with the ball when he was tossing it to the ref. That pissed me off so much.

I also watched Civil War over the weekend and I loved it. To each their own.

In my main league we get a pay out for most points in the week and I'm easily going to take that this week. I'll be 1-1 but most points in the league with no gronk and OBJ not doing much the first two weeks. I'm happy.

2016-2017 NCAA football thread
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 17, 2016 -> 04:11 PM) Ole Miss just got away with two of the dirtiest hits you'll see all year, on the same play, none of them penalized. This is quite the exaggeration.

Clemson and South Carolina State agreed to play 12 minute quarters in the 2nd half today. I had no idea that was a thing you could do.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 17, 2016 -> 08:47 AM) The Bears did this several years ago. Of course they were called for holding, but other than that, it worked to perfection. First thing that popped into my head when I read that. I've seen it done one or two other times since but that Bears game was the first time I had ever seen it.

2016 Cubs catch-all thread
QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 16, 2016 -> 11:10 AM) Nothing pisses me off more than casual Cubs fans acting like they've always cared. Are Sox fans allowed to say this? Aren't we(obviously nobody on this board but you get what I'm saying) in general like the biggest bandwagon fans around?

2016 Cubs catch-all thread
The only reason the Cubs are a bit different than any other baseball team for me is because I do have a lot of close friends that I'd be super happy for if they do end up winning it all. That said, I'm not rooting for them and I'm not rooting against them, whatever happens...happens. And they're obviously the best team in baseball but they're far from a lock to even get out of the NLDS, this is the baseball post season, it's random as s***.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 16, 2016 -> 09:35 AM) So did Rollins. He did but Tyler outperformed him. I don't think Tyler is a starting shortstop at the major league level but I don't think it's fair to say he was given a legit shot in spring training, Rollins was definitely the guy they wanted to go with.

I loved Forte's value too especially if you have any type of ppr in your league. The only thing that worries me a bit is he saw 0 action on 3rd down yesterday and you'd think that's where he'd gobble up some catches.

Misc. Sox Quotes & Tweets
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 16, 2016 -> 09:23 AM) And Saladino had a legit shot at the job in spring training. He didn't beat Rollins out. The cards were not stacked against him. Robin loves the guy. He almost made the team a few years ago. Saladino absolutely destroyed the ball in Spring Training.

I'm not sure if it was just the twitter stream that showed 80 million Luke Cage commercials yesterday during the football game but I'm now ready for that to start!

That Bills 4th down debacle and then the Jets follow it up by not going for 2 after they score the td there. How can coaches be this f***in dumb?!?
