I'm not basing this on his stats but just the way he worked the ball all around the field, hitting line drives and not just trying to hit the ball out of the park. He started hitting his fair share of homeruns but he was back to popping up a lot of pitches and overswinging in key situations where he'd only care about hitting a homerun, that was always my biggest problem with carlos.

I personally love watching a team move a runner a long, lay down a bunt, hit a sac fly, etc. I'd rather watch that then see a ball fly out of the park. Personally I don't care how exciting it is or how they do it, I just want the sox to win, period.

Illinois fans, I know you don't want to hear it now but you guys had a great season. I know it's hard but congrats on a great year. Palehose, it pains me to say this but congrats, I was wrong about unc all year, you guys just beat a great team, congrats, enjoy it.

I didn't go up to there but when I was outside the park I saw the race Scott Podsednik thing was functioning so that was atleast up, not sure about the rest.
