  1. Hey look another missed call by the umps, great play be Joe there.
  2. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) Some days, everything goes wrong. Today's one of them. Yup, unfortunately it's just one of those days.
  3. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) Amen, it better happen. It wont.
  4. I get nervous on every call that is 4 inches near the strike zone.
  5. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:17 PM) Cmon koney here comes a heater. Ya, like I said
  6. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:12 PM) Barlett> guzman. It is an upgrade. Offensively no doubt but not defensively and Guzman has also been apart of their team for all their title runs, for whatever that's worth and I think it is worth something.
  7. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) s*** man, I hope Bmac becomes the next Santana, this guys disgusting. Well.....duh I love bmac and all but he's not going to be the next santana.
  8. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) I agree sometimes you have to work around it but when you're getting it rammed up your ass with no lube it tends to bug ya a bit.. Ya, it's gotten ridiculous now, cause Buehrle has been squeezed a bit but Johan's had a huge plate.
  9. QUOTE(JimH @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:06 PM) Buehrle felt he was getting squeezed a bit but this home plate ump is definitely not squeezing Santana. The called 3rd strike on Ozuna was very definitely low and outside. Not making excuses but Sox hitters aren't getting the calls either. Ya, facing Johan is impossible enough but when he has a strike zone like he's had tonight you almost have no chance.
  10. Alright this strike zone's getting a bit ridiculous. Gooch hit it hard but at Cuddyer.
  11. Rincon warming up, I don't care how good Rincon is(and he's good) I just want santana out of this game.
  12. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 07:57 PM) I posted that ahead of you but you know how long it takes to send from down here.
  13. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 07:55 PM) Is it just me or does Santana seem to have a little bit better strike zone than Buehrle?? Not that I am tying to make any excuse for Buehrle or anything because he hasn't really pitch great thus far but I have seen a few pitched Buehrle has placed almost exactly where Santana is putting them and not getting the same calls on them...just wondering if anyone else has seen this. Jester, there is no doubt but you got to get around that stuff sometimes.
  14. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 07:55 PM) What's Santana's and Buerhle's pitch counts? To slow aussie
  15. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 07:50 PM) Well they at least know what pitch to hit and try to drive it. Most hitters get contact on the pitch they want. Sox are whiffing on everything. Want the change one pitch and end up swinging on a fastball. Want a fastball the next pitch and swing on a changeup away. I can guarantee you most of the sox hitters are trying to sit on the fastball but the motion on his changeup is so perfect. A lot of our hitters see his changeup as a fastball coming out of the hand and then......POOF it's gone.
