The front end of the bullpen is actually a little overcrowded now. Not the best depth in the world but there is a bit of depth there at the moment.

Seems like a great trade. I really hope we bring Carroll back to be the long man in the pen and I'll be a happy camper.

I hear he smells bad too.

I was told his defense is starting to decline quite a bit, if he was still the Ichiro of old in the field, I'd be all about him despite the below average bat at this point.

I'd assume there'd be a Danks domino to fall if something like this happened but who knows, the Sox still might have a bit more cash to play with than they're letting on.

Good for the Cubs. This contract will obviously be a mess they have to deal with in years 5 and 6(if not earlier) but it was time for them to make a leap like this as well. Nice rotation they have.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox told him not to do this stuff at some point.

I honestly just respect the hell out of how Rick treats the media. He gives the most honest answers he possibly can in his position and doesn't try to side step any question. I really enjoy that.

Brian is going to hate me for this but I love watching Ron Baker play. The Shocks obviously aren't as good as last year but man their back court is good.

If he comes cheap then I'm all for it. Unfortunately that's not going to be the case so I'd rather use our resources elsewhere.

The only "hole" left is one of the outfield spots. While Gillaspie and Flowers aren't ideal, they aren't holes either. LF is definitely next.
