  1. You and I almost always agree on everything but what is the Sox window right now? If we lose our best pitcher in 3 years what happens at that point? SD is aggressive and sure it might not result in anything but the Sox are just going to sit back and watch this window pass them by because they’re scared to take a risk.
  2. Could not agree more with this. Once again everyone, as of now we have Gio for 3 more years. The fact that everyone is worried about what’s going to happen 5-6 years from now just isn’t the right mind set.
  3. Ya, I really wish they'd raise that unemployment supplement for the people that are still out of work. I was laid off for about 4 months and that extra 600 was a legit life saver and I only received it for about 2 of those months. When the actual unemployment payment is so low an extra 300 while obviously nice is only going to get you so far.
  4. "Tony has a proud and productive history with the White Sox and Major League Baseball, which is why we are standing by him" is an absolutely infuriating sentence.
  5. And he gets to serve his day in jail as "home detention." Classic stuff.
  6. If you want the Sox to win the World Series this year I just don't see how you can have an issue with Crochet being in the bullpen.
  7. I want nothing to do with Yadi. Waino as I've said before does seem to make a lot of sense, especially with the way the Sox are doing business right now.
  8. Basically Rick was 1 of about 8 billion names on a list that they would have planned on interviewing. Doesn't tell us anything where Rick is at with what has happened this offseason, just tells us that Philly might have, kind have been interested at some point.
  9. They've already shown us they're not spending top dollar for a position player or starting pitcher so if they're willing to spend top dollar on a closer so be it. It's not where I originally would have wanted them to go but if that's the route they've decided then I don't care if it's a 4 year deal, just get the top guy in here.
  10. I say go with the Cleveland Football Team. Just cause.
  11. And pegged Dane as a 2-4 starter for the next 6 years when we have 0 clue what he is.
  12. I have 0 doubt that Aaron or Codi can handle the closer's role but I'd much rather have them available to handle high leverage situations in the 7th or 8th.
  13. He's going to play one more year and retire. Obviously the most likely place for him to end up is back in STL but there's been talk about ATL too. Wainwright has taken lower offers lately so he just seems to fit with what the Sox are doing and the obvious TLR connection. Not saying I'd love it or that it's going to happen, I'm just surprised there hasn't been more chatter about it as it seems to make sense.
  14. I'm sayin! This is so simple.
  15. Sign Kershaw and Scherzer to short term deals. This gm thing is easy.
  16. Ya, I'm honestly not too worried about extending Lynn at this point. Gio is the obvious one that we need to get done. Hopefully it happens this year.
  17. I'm legit surprised we haven't heard more about Wainwright to fill that back end of the rotation spot.
  18. Do not put this into the universe.
  19. Defense in right was clearly a priority for them...
  20. Not sure I love you telling this story about me but it's fine.
  21. As you can see by mine, I no longer wield the power to change these. I shall accept the 2 dollars though.
