  1. Vaughn had some good pitches to hit this game but he got aced on those last 2 that inning. Not doing anything with those.
  2. Not to mention Tony was just burying Tatis Jr. about this same type of stuff last year. He’s not playing 4D chess here, he’s just an out of touch old man.
  3. ?? can confirm
  4. Just so you know, anytime I do complain about Tony on here it's absolutely about you!
  5. I obviously have 0 clue what happened on that 3-0 sign but if Yermin blatantly ignored it, it might tell you what some of these guys think about Tony in general.
  6. Only good part about those Tony quotes is Yermin not backing down from what he did, makes it all the much cooler. And fuck off, TLR.
  7. Keep doing what you’re doing, Yoan. And please leave Twitter, Steve.
  8. This isn't me complaining because I get the logic of not wanting to move Vaughn around too much but honestly he might be the guy that should be in the 2 hole right now.
  9. Exactly. Stuff is silly as hell to me but hey if he believes it and it gives him more confidence than more power to him.
  10. There’s plenty of blame to go around so far but when your team is struggling it’s a huge freakin problem when the manager isn’t putting them in the best position to succeed. A lot of things need to change and Tony is high on that list.
  11. Covid clearly takes the same toll on everybody. Look, Yoan hasn’t been good this year and we need him to be better but dismissing the fact that Covid could have played a role last year cause Freddie was good is silly. It’s also probably not helping Yoan to have Nick Williams bat behind him.
  12. Yes, Yermin has been awful.
  13. Look, Nick got a walk off get your teammate hit by a throw play, what the hell else do you want from him?
  14. He had to dh 2 days in a row, he's clearly exhausted.
  15. Hasn't been given a chance. Williams has been here for like 4 days and by tomorrow he'll probably have more at bats than Andrew.
  16. Hell, you might be right. My brain is so jumbled from getting mad at Tony every day I don't know where we are this point ha.
  17. How many at bats does Vaughn have since it came from Tony's own freakin mouth that Andrew was starting to look better? Like 3?
  18. Me every time I see a TLR lineup:
  19. Ya, I have plenty of worries about this team but the bullpen ain't one of them. That group will be one of if not the best pens in the league.
  20. OPS last year against lefties was .887, against righties it was .749 and that's with Eloy having an .898 ops against righties. It's still not the biggest sample size in the world but it's absolutely something people were worried about going into the season after Eloy got hurt and so far it's showed through.
  21. Who the hell cares about the Cubs in this scenario? This is a team that had/has World Series aspirations, the Cubs didn't. Everything Fathom saying is true here, we murder lhp and don't hit right handers that well. Even last year when everyone thought we had the best offense in the world, we were very average against righties and that's with Eloy around who was one of the guys who mashed them.
  22. Well we haven't in how long now? So to answer your question: at this point the answer is no.
  23. This is one way to handle your top prospect... This shit is infuriating.
