QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 04:39 PM) You're crazy. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, and it's not even close. My whole family on my mom's side (and quite a few from my dad's side), which is a ton of people, always goes to my parents' house. That's only a few blocks from my place, and then I'll probably stop in at my girlfriend's family's house later in the day. Luckily, that is only a block from my parents. I don't like thanksgiving food for one and both sides of my family are insane. Thank god for football. Black Wednesday>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Thanksgiving to me.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 24, 2011 -> 09:53 AM) I think that was a successful trip for Illinois. Both Richmond and ISU are contenders to win their respective conferences. Could end up being two quality wins at the end of the year. Or not

Thanksgiving is usually my least favorite holiday BUT this year because there's a lot of good football, I'm actually excited for Thursday. And I got a lot of driving to do tomorrow, from Palatine to Skokie, Skokie to Crystal Lake, Crystal Lake back to Skokie, quite annoying.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 04:33 PM) Yeah, he blows. So does Skelton and Bartel for AZ. Orton is better than Kolb too...
  5. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 04:19 PM) He actually didn't look that bad. And it wouldn't make any sense for KC to claim Orton anyways. He looked awful.
  6. No brainer for the Bears to pick up KO if available. That being said, the Texans would also be nuts to not claim him...
  7. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 04:02 PM) Bellichick is just taking advantage of undervalued assets in the marketplace to maximize his resources...he's smart enough to understand how to incorporate them into his systems to achieve success. Obviously, much of this revolves around having one of the best qb's in history, but that's all he's doing. MONEYBALL
  8. Hopefully they give Punk and Dolph a good amount of time tonight. From a pure wrestling stand point it doesn't get much better than those two...
  9. QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 05:30 PM) I think the Packers should bench Aaron Rodgers. That guy sucks, don't you agree? Holding that team back all the way. Never even heard of this Rodgers fellow. What position does he play?
  10. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 06:20 PM) Where are these career stats? Only career stat is yards per catch, which I'm not saying Gore is the better receiver. I've had 3 people warn me I won't win vs. the Homers here, I can see why......you people probably haven't even watched Gore in a game since they played CHI in 2009 I've seen every Gore snap this yr and I'm not a Bears fan...
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 05:32 PM) Memphis is not a top ten team. They looked lost against the Michigan zone today. Only thing that will keep them in the top 20 is Conference USA. Eh, they have a lot of talent. They're a team that could get bounced early or make a deep run into March, neither would surprise me.
  12. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 05:32 PM) Why, because he has 56 more rushing yards in 3 less attempts? Or because he is a Chicago Bear? Because he is just better...
  13. QUOTE (The Critic @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 03:32 PM) Have they booked anything well since Punk's "goodbye" title win? Mark Henry, maybe? Sheamus, maybe? They even managed to f*** up The Awesome Truth. Henry, that's it.
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 11:40 AM) The tag match last night was so poorly booked. IMO No doubt. On a somewhat similar note...The Rock is f***in ginormous, good god.
  15. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 03:35 PM) Gore is about to become the 49ers all time leading rusher behind names like Craig, Watters, Hearst and Perry... When Forte has the career Gore has, I'll hear you out... And going by your logic, Philip Rivers is better than Cutler......... Actually you're the one using past season stats to justify an opinion so technically by your logic Rivers is better than Cutler...
  16. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 02:55 PM) Forte > Gore. Absolutely though Gore is damn good as well. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 02:59 PM) Anyone think Rodgers will pass the 50 TD mark this year? He needs to average a little over 3 TD a game to get there. Tough to say but I'd probably lean towards no. Yesterday even though he was still terrific for anyone else, he actually looked human. First time all yr he's made more than 3 off target throws all game, true story...
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 02:44 PM) The next streak is 13 weeks... By Pitt. Anyone else contribute to that besides Fitzgerald, Shady and Baldwin?
  18. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 02:36 PM) Oh whatever, Row... If he got hurt, you know you wouldn't feel sorry for him. Just like no Packers fan feels bad about us losing Cutler. I'm not a Bears fan, man. Trust me, I'm not above rooting for injuries but considering I'm very indifferent on both the Bears and Packers and Rodgers is on my fantasy team, just no.
  19. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 02:33 PM) Why the hell can't Aaron Rodgers can hurt on some fluke injury? Nothing too serious or anything (I don't hate the guy), but a 6-8 week injury would be excellent. No.
  20. QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 03:32 PM) But Babe Ruth was a pitcher too So does the Babe Ruth award go to the best hitting pitcher or best pitching hitter? I'm so confused...
  21. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 01:41 AM) I still believe the Bears will make the playoffs but they are completely f***ed. Even if Jay comes back for the playoffs I really doubt he would be able to step right onto the field and play at the same level he has been lately. He seemed to really developed a good rhythm with the improved line and was starting to really get into a groove with some of the receivers. That stuff is hard to just immediately pick up during an NFL playoff game. This is pretty much how I feel.
  22. Definitely gonna hit up some NU games this yr. Can't miss Perry Jones in Evanston, can I?
  23. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 20, 2011 -> 11:17 AM) Marty, you've really become a black cloud. I'm usually one as well, but yours is as black as the inside of a coffin on a moonless night. Have a Coke and a smile. There's a difference with being negative and just being wrong.

I gotta be a top 5 person in the history of the world. It's like Gene Honda, Yancey Thigpen, Mark Bellhorn, Jesus Shuttlesworth and Myself. Fab five right there.
  25. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 19, 2011 -> 01:43 AM) So give the team that got their asses kicked the rematch over the team that outplayed LSU and lost in overtime. Got it. At home...
