  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 5, 2011 -> 11:13 AM) Eh. It would look cool on paper but end in an obvious way. And once again, Punk being on HHH and Cena's side makes 0 sense.
  2. QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 5, 2011 -> 01:23 PM) Wasting an Austin return on a Survivor Series match would be very disappointing. I understand the physical limits, but there are ways to work a protected match and have him go over big. He's not Bret Hart, he could still go for one decent match, I'm sure of that. His matches were 75% offense anyway, so you just don't throw him around and it's all good. Punk-Austin at Wrestlemania would be one of the coolest things ever.
  3. Well... keep DCFS on speed dial, Soxtalk.
  4. QUOTE (Papa Tru @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 07:40 PM) Are you guys serious? How much sense would it make to have Orton and Mark Henry standing next to eachother, concerned about HHH and how things are going under his watch.. maybe CM Punk, Del Rio, and Cena could have all put their arms around eachother and brainstormed a few questions to ask.. Some people didn't need to be out there because it would have looked stupid.. It was supposed to be the whole locker room and there were a ton of "rivals" out there, just not standing together. Critic is correct, it was done to not get those guys heat, which is stupid and once again, Punk's character apparently has done a complete 180 on the wwe in the last 3 weeks here. It's awful. The smackdown spoilers are infuriating by the way, I'll leave it at that for now.
  5. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 04:49 PM) I'm with you, I think I'd like to see a Yankees/Brewers world series at this point. It's always fun when the small market team beats the Yankees in the series. That's exactly what I want to see.
  6. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 05:13 PM) MB is not a elite starter and really is overvalued by Sox fans, he is a mediocre innings eater .500 pitcher at this point. Let MB go somewhere else. This is just absurd.
  7. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 03:48 PM) First Ozuna, now Timo. Actually, it seems like this is the second time that Timo has been caught. Anyway, is Willie Harris next? Group 4 is being tarnished.
  8. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 03:45 PM) Those are some nice orange trousers. Orange huh?
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 03:14 PM) So how soon until we interview Martinez? 5 minutes ago would have been a good time.
  10. QUOTE (Cali @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 03:17 PM) So Rangers vs. Tigers could be a HELL of an ALCS... Eew
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 12:44 PM) darkened and circled I SEE IT NOW
  12. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 09:25 PM) Find the cat. Some will take 10 seconds, others will take 10 minutes. Well I'm stumped. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 11:46 AM) Hehe.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 11:57 AM) Noticed Punk nor Cena were out there at the end. Smackdown will be a 2 hour HHH promo, i guess. No Punk, Cena, Orton, Sheamus, Kelly, Eve and Mason Ryan(why?) from what I gathered. I like their attempt at a fresh angle here, the only thing that is bothering me is that Punk pretty much started this whole thing and it looks like he might finish it on HHH and Cena's side which is ridiculous.
  14. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 10:55 AM) Detroit is Detroit. I think we've won that one. No need to hate them because they're from there. More likely, they need the pity. It's pretty simple for me, I just like a lot of players on the Yankees while I despise Valverde and Magglio. Go Yankees!
  15. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 04:34 AM) Pssh.. look at my post on that subject. I knew it cause I saw Prior and Sale both pitch in college. Sale has very good stuff, but he isn't in Prior's neighborhood. (and that is no knock, Prior was just that good) And I will maintain my ways on saying it would be a horrible mistake if Danks is traded. (unless you absolutely can not sign him to a Buehrle type deal) He still has too much upside untapped. (and yes.. I'm his biggest fan, and I know Floyd is Jason's biggest fan) I have not forgotten about Prior but I still vehemently disagree. Prior had very good stuff but he didn't have Kerry Wood or Strasburg stuff, what set Prior apart at the time was his ability to locate said stuff.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 07:02 PM) Boooooo. Tampa will still take this in 5. Hellickson and Moore can definitely still take this for TB. Far from over.
  17. Chris will be an absolute monster by 2013. Mark my words.
  18. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 09:32 AM) L'il Sqwert: Did you know that your kid is a pumpkin? Very cute.
  19. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 02:42 PM) Outside Tropicana enjoying a beer and an Italian sasage, getting ready to go in and cheer on my second favorite ballclub. Go Rays!! That sounds like f***in paradise right now. Lucky.
  20. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 03:46 PM) I know a gym you can work out at. Cheap-o Haha, I'm still planning on signing up there, I swear, just haven't yet ha. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 03:47 PM) No booze. Run. Ab Ripper X. Ya I'm about to stop boozing for a while(ugh) I do every day And I've mastered that b****.
  21. Time for this to get bumped. So I'm doing a spring break trip this year and I'm trying to get myself to exactly where I want to be before that. As I've said in this thread, I've lost a ton of weight with in the last year and a half but despite everything I still got a little too much fat in the belly area that's covering up the abs. I obviously have a good amount of time to fix this problem but figured I'd see if any of you guys have a good work out plan to get rid of the last bit of body fat. Diet wont be a problem.
  22. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 12:51 PM) I mean if Lee gets him out, nobody cares, but it failed and our fan base woulda freaked. This is so incorrect. Even when bad moves end up working(and that obviously does happen) people on this board would still call it like it is and you love to say something along the lines of "the move worked, why can't we just be happy." The fact is that Charlie made a mistake and Philly didn't over come it. ALL managers make mistakes but just like a player it's about minimizing them and in the end it's about putting your team in the best position to win, which Ozzie Guillen was terrible at.
