  1. Before this offseason most posters did. They've been trying to fire them for the last 6-7 years at least.
  2. "Too loyal" has been viewed as a negative by many here in the past. Maybe some will rethink the "too loyal" and start to appreciate it.
  3. I thought that's what people were doing. They were freaking out because of what he's said about certain prospects. That would mean they value his opinion enough to rail against it.
  4. I'm not. It really doesnt matter to me. I'm just saying it's his job so you just discounting people valuing an expert's opinion is a little over the top. But maybe you do have a better handle on it than them.
  5. Holy Cow! Look at the rear end and tree trunk legs on him. No wonder he can generate so much power. Of course some on this board will insist it's PEds because no one can be built like that without help ^^^^^ ?
  6. Theoretically he is paid to be an expert on these players whereas we are just fans and don't make our living evaluating these players. So, yes his opinion and evaluation should mean more especially for people who pay for his opinion by subscribing to the publication.
  7. Didnt he go outside the organization to driveline or somewhere to work on command?
  8. Shoeless Joe did accept money however.
  9. I think his nickname needs to be wild thing due to the glasses.
  10. He was injured so often insurance probably picked up most of the contract so it didn't hurt the team much.

If you can't afford it then you are automatically saying that you are getting inferior care. At least in the current system the best care is available with insurance to many people. If the government runs it, it becomes available to any fewer people.

People will pay for the best healthcare available thus it will always be a for profit industry.
  13. I agree. The medical staff should be compensated more for their time and efforts! ? Of course I am a little biased.
  14. Wait a minute. You mean you will have better control if you stay in a straight line instead of turning to the side? I'm shocked at this revelation.
  15. The owners already ratified it. I don't think it will be that easy for the players to ratify. Already a number of players that have opposed it.
  16. Very true. hopefully he also alters his follow through that I've disliked since they drafted him.
  17. Hey, leave the trainer out of it. The poor guy makes next to nothing (comparatively) and always takes care of everyone. You dont have to berate him as the lowliest person around.
  18. I really like the kickoffs. They actually get returns and with the blockers so close together they don't have the momentum much more than a regular play. I think the NFL should adopt this one now.
  19. When you have a team of poor hitters, no options are good.
  20. I agree. It's the challenge of the better competition. However, I do understand gaining the year of control and needing to limit the innings.
  21. It's fine. Most of the stats around lineup construction say any lineup order with the same players only matters about 1 game for the whole season. I think it's where the players are the most comfortable is what matters the most.
  22. This is correct. Neither fanbase actually shows up they just live on their computers. All of the real fans are actually at theirs team's Spring training. ?
  23. I know I was saying it all last season. He was playing the hand he was dealt, a bunch of below average hitter who had a better chance to execute a bunt than get a hit. If he has better hitters he won't feel the need to bunt as much. This is really the first time in his entire career he has a good team. I have no idea if he going to be a good manager but I don't think we've seen the "real" manager either.
